So this place is a hidden gem. It’s got great seafood but also amazing underground Thai food. Order the Salt and Pepper special, the Rising Phoenix and/or any of the curries. So good. Also the service is stellar. Especially Jane, she remembers folks and makes you feel like a regular. And she’s got good food recs.

Thought this was a raw seafood spot. While they do have oysters on the half shell that's about it right now at least. More of a Thai / Cajun infusion. Tasty, huge portions, fair prices.

It was very good fried shrimp My friend ordered the catfish He said that was excellent. The hostess and the wait staff were very nice and polite. I would definitely go back!

I already wrote a review, a great place for sure. Love the variety of food. Want to add that Jayne was great and very helpful. This is a great place with something for everyone. Owner Quinn came by and talked with us. Absolutely give this place a try.

I have been wanting to try Deckhands Oyster Bar & Seafood in South Austin for many months. I've ordered their Tom Yum numerous times at the Round Rock location as a to-go lunch but never studied the menu. I was super impressed with the amount of Thai and Cajun options that were available and happy to find out the owner (Tarzan) is Thai so the food should be legit! And it was! I ordered the jalepeno boudin as an appetizer and Crying Boar as the main dish. They were both amazing and large portions that I enjoyed at home for two more days. Robert was the person who helped me have this incredible dining experience. If you're a fan of Thai and/or Cajun food, you'll enjoy the food for sure!

The best Viet Cajun Crawfish in Austin. Don't skip the bacon wrapped Boudin. Perfect balance of spice, liver and rice.

I came here so many times for the meaty oyster from the gulf. Thai food is delicious and very close to what I had in Thailand, so some dishes might be salty and spicy.

Great seafood! I loved the raw oysters!
The crawfish were good but the flavour could have been better in my opinion. The gumbo was average.
Overall very nice meal if you are feeling some seafood.
They have Thai food too! Will come back to try some of those dishes!

They were out of fried oysters but the Thai dishes were actually surprisingly good. I really like the environment and the interior design with the neon ambiance and Jimmy Buffett / Key West style decor.
There's about 10 beers on tap and the bartenders are always entertaining, cheerful, and super cool.
You can find a nice spot in the corner for a relaxed lunch meeting. I really love the variety of food which is fried seafood and Thai 😁
