Great food and friendly staff! Fun and yummy cocktails, too. I had the Lemon Daydream, it was perfect with the Fried Fish Tacos and a great change from a Margarita! The taco plates are huge, all ingredients very fresh and loaded with flavor. It came with a side of delicious rice (and I am not a big rice fan) and incredibly tasty black beans-I ate every bite of each, and I never do that. The space itself is loud as the floors are concrete and it is an open room. But, there was a lovely live band playing jazz, and they were wonderful. There is a large outdoor dining space too, but it was a bit too chilly that evening, so we dined inside. Prices on the entrees (which the tacos are not in this category) were very high. The tacos were higher than most places, but you are srved two and they are very large and super stuffed, so for me, it was two meals worth, so the price then was very reasonable. It has a huge bar, with ample seating, that was full of happy diners. Seems a great place to eat well and socialize in a comfortable atmosphere.

Stellar brunch menu. The Lobster migas are out of this world. Next time we will ask for a side of the chorizo-lime butter, it was a hit. Blackberry margarita is delicious. Appreciate being able to watch sports without booming audio. Casey provided outstanding service.

Great place and we will no doubt be back. We have driven past many times but never gave it a second thought until finally one day we looked up the menu and knew we just had to try. Right off the 71 and plenty of parking so very easy to access. There is a large raw bar you can sit at and a regular bar. And there is plenty of indoor and outdoor traditional seating. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted and told about the specials as well as our drink orders taken. This was my first time try 512 Brewery and have to say that it's now one of my favorites! We started off with salads; we ordered the Caesar and Blue Cheese Wedge and both were amazing. We are big fans of "peel & eat" shrimp, so whenever we find a place that's serving it... we have to try. They advertise their shrimp as "Gulf" shrimp and I have to say, since moving to Austin, we have had some fresh Gulf shrimp and it is some of the freshest shrimp ever! While this was good shrimp, it wasn't as good as some we have had from sellers who bring it fresh from the gulf waters. They also use very large shrimp; the size you would expect for a shrimp cocktail but not for peel & eat shrimp. Whenever I have had peel & eat shrimp at any other place, they usually serve a pound of 16/20 or maybe 11/15 size shrimp. I'm not sure this was a pound as it doesn't state on the menu and we didn't ask but again, these are shrimp you would traditional get in a jumbo shrimp cocktail. It came with an unusual cocktail sauce. The sauce did have a nice spiciness to it, but there was some other flavor that we didn't really like. We ate it, but it would have been nice if it was just traditional cocktail sauce with a side of horseradish. They cook the shrimp in Old Bay seasoning which is amazing! Very few places use Old Bay but happily they do. And the shrimp definitely could have been chilled more. The shrimp meat wasn't as firm as you would expect; sometimes when places boil the shrimp, they don't spend enough time letting it cool down to firm up the meat. We will have to come back someday to try some of their fish dishes. They have monitors on the wall and seem to show quite a bit of sports, so no doubt this would be a great place for football when the season starts back up soon. But if you are seafood lover, you will certainly enjoy this place.

June 2023: Retuned back to enjoy a tasty lunch and ordered the Lemon Pepper Redfish Tacos and a Frozé. The bartender recognized us which makes us regulars. The tacos were just marvelous and had tremendous flavor. The Frozé was delightful especially on a very hot summer day. Afterwards I took my wife o a tour of the private room used for events and business meetings. It had its own bar and tables. January 2022: The Shore Raw Bar & Grill is on our regular restaurant rotation but unlike other places this menu seems to change making dining in special every time. I generally try a new item on every visit and on this day it was the Crispy Skinned Striped Bass with a drink called Paper Plane. The bass was positioned on top of blue crab rice and grilled yellow squash with panko-fried asparagus with blackberry-habanero sauce, pickled red onion and basil on top. It sounds like a large assortment of ingredients but together this plate of food was very good. The fish was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor and was powerful to my taste buds. The only thing left was the stalks of the asparagus which usually my least favorite vegetable, but it was prepared delightful. I sat at the bar and the bartender did an excellent job creating my Paper Plane. The place has also grew some legs with a side shop called Sunrise at Shore (coffee shop with breakfast tacos) and a VIP private room for the high rollers of seafood cuisine. Overall It’s my favorite seafood restaurant and enjoy dining here.

I had brunch with my family there. I don't think you could have gathered 1 bite of food from all of our plates together when we were done. Drinks were equally delicious. Will definitely be returning soon.
