Yum. Great food and great staff. They brought a free steak taco for us to try and it was amazing. Best handmade tortillas. Their complimentary chips come with salads AND BEANS! Would definitely go back. For a chain, they make dinner tasty and fun.
Festive decor and an appetizing menu make this place a winner. It's great for company catering, and their fajita dishes are exceptional! Fajita platters are my ultimate favorite; you get so much and even the presentation looks great. Some folks I know love their shrimp stew. It's an excellent choice for a group outing.
The best way to generally describe it is to say it's pretty "homey." I love the vibes when you walk in! The staff are very nice and would check up on my wife and I, but not too much. The food is a little expensive but worth it due to the portions you get. I didn't drink because I was the designated driver. My wife did drink, and she got this dragon fruit tequila drink and said, "If all alcohol tasted like this, I'd be drunk all the time."
The steak fajitas are the best I've ever had. Can't go wrong with some seriously good Tex-mex while visiting The Great State of Texas. Get yourself a Dos Equis and really make it a complete meal. Service was spot on and quick with refills. Definitly coming back!
Great food, best fajita in the town. Overall the food here tastes more authentic Mexican. I bring my son here because he loves beef fajitas.
Lupe tortilla has the very best hand shaken margaritas on the rocks! Starting with drinks they get 10/10. Food and service was great too!! The shrimp enchiladas and chicken tacos were delicious. Totally recommend trying out this restaurant if you haven’t already.
Wasn't impressed when they sat us down. We asked for a booth or regular table. They said neither was available, so they sat us at a high top table that's in-between the kitchen, bathrooms, and the entrance. Lots of traffic. Not the best place to sit. I walked over to the main area and there were plenty of empty tables. I'm assuming they probably didn't have a server available for that portion of the restaurant. We didn't ask.
Our server was Ceylany. She was great.
Chips and salsa were brought out. They also brought out charro beans as a dip for the tortilla chips. This was an interesting and tasty concept. It's a nice alternative to salsa. We also ordered child con queso that was quickly eaten.
We ordered fajitas, the Pablo Patron, among other dishes. I really loved their enchilada sauce. The sauce is what makes the enchiladas delicious. All of our food was very good. Drinks were spot on, alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Overall, despite our seating arrangement, it was well worth our time to drive 20 miles to eat here. Again, Ceylany was a wonderful server.

Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurant offers a cozy, homey atmosphere paired with authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine that left my tastebuds singing. I recently visited for dinner and was immediately struck by the warm, festive decor. The menu is loaded with classic Tex-Mex and Mexican favorites like fajitas, tacos, enchiladas - all at reasonable prices. The portions are generous and left me with enough for a second meal. Between the comforting vibe, attentive service, and delicious food, Lupe Tortilla is a go-to for crave-worthy Mexican food. I give it a highly recommended 4 out of 5 stars.
Lupe Tortilla's beef fajitas are my absolute favorite...I went twice in the span of a week and I don't feel bad about it.
My friend recommended Lupe's and I've tried a few of their dishes in the past (Mahi Mahi Shrimp, Waffles etc) before my friend directed me to the fajitas. That sizzle, that smell? Delightful. The corn tortillas are a little thicker than what I'm used to but tasted great and don't break. The flour tortillas are big and thin and delicious to eat by themselves. My go-to is the Trio Fajitas which comes with beef, chicken and shrimp, 1pd goes a long way but a 1/2 pd won't disappoint. The beef (my favorite) is especially tender with a hint of lime and there's some melted butter on the side for the shrimpy boys. While I wish that they used chicken thigh instead of chicken breast, the meat wasn't dry and tasted good as well. There is no chili or spices added to the meat, however there is a roasted red pepper of med-high spice that you can easily cut up and add into your fajita.
Masks are enforced and here are a lot of seating options: outside, at the bar, table and booth. The ambiance of the restaurant is festive and the thatched roof over the bar is reminiscent of a cabana.
Try the fajitas and the desserts, they haven't disappointed me yet!
The corn tortillas have flour in them. The flour tortillas are really big. Meat and shrimp great. The rice was a 5. Initial seating was in hight traffic are so we moved.
Strangely delicious cheese enchilada (I've never had one with velveeta cheese), but the beans and the rice were a little on the cool side. Enjoyed the salsa immensely and the chips were delicious. The best part was the hostess and the waitress because both were friendly and outgoing.
Priced just right for Westlake, this location is way too loud when full, as it often is on Friday nights. The fajitas are good, and, like I said, priced for Westlake.
My Mom enjoyed her margarita, though.
