I love their grilled fish tacos and my family likes the fajita chicken tacos. Great salsas and guac. I'm not a fan of the deep fried chips. Way too greasy for me.
This isn't the place to go if you want a great atmosphere. Inside is dark and it has decent outside tables.

Taco joint is my go-to for breakfast tacos! They have the best potato egg and cheese breakfast taco, and their salsas are great. The employees are friendly and our food is always ready on time. Today we tried their margarita, and it was good, especially for $4! There’s lots of indoor seating and then some outdoor seating as well.

I found my taco heaven! Seriously so good I'm thinking of how soon will and can go back! The selections are clearly made with love and finesse, and each bite excites my palette with a rush of spices. Well priced, great service, and conveniently located just outside of downtown, what more could you ask for. Thank you for entering my life and providing me a fulfilling lunch. Next taco run will include a frozen margarita, till then.

Nice people, good atmosphere a tiny tiny bit dirty but not really. I love love love the chicken fajitas and the El tree hugger isn't bad. My friend 3njoyed the quesadilla. Definitely recommend and among my top 5.

No frills or gimmicks, just solid tacos. Quick service, friendly staff, easy to find seating usually. My personal fav is the crispy fish taco, it’s so good! I also like their sauce selection- includes chipotle, avocado, even a peanut sauce!

google does describe this place as "bare bones", but combined with no table service and pretty low music, this place almost feels lifeless. the quality of horchata is always important to me and unfortunately this horchata was not very good. it tastes like an instant powder horchata so it was very artificial tasting and kinda thick. the actual food was very good! the cheese enchiladas were good, the sauce was full of flavor. the rice and beans were very good too. the mejicano sandwiches were delicious! the tomato and lettuce are fresh and crispy and the meat is so tender and packed with flavor.

Mainly giving this 5 stars for the nostalgia. Eating here brings back memories of being a broke college student. Chilling with your friends before class starts with a good taco. Their salsa is best in city also. I wish I can buy a jar somewhere.

Really enjoyed Taco Joint! Nice little hole in the wall. Very quick in and out service. Pretty big sized tacos- really yummy !! Worth the value !
