Never had gone here before . Had a long day at work on Christmas Eve and the staff and atmosphere made this the most special Christmas Eve ever with family. The food was DELICIOUS. The staff were so patient, friendly and accommodating. THANK you so much TRAVIS for going ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US. We appreciate this and will be back!

I really really like this place so quaint. It’s also a very peaceful place to enjoy a nice and relaxing meal with your family & friends. I would really like to return to this restaurant.

Oh wow this place is awesome. Possibly the best Seabass I’ve had in quite a while. With asparagus and rice. Very good great tequila collection had a nice heavy on 44. And the oysters were spot on. Recommended highly.

I can't resist sharing my recent wonderful experience at Cafe Blue! The Salmon Cedar Plank is an absolute must-try; it's a flavor explosion that left me thoroughly satisfied. What impressed me even more was the attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure that our party of 15 had an exceptional time. As someone who values interactions and collaborations, this restaurant provided the perfect atmosphere for both private and social moments. It's a place where you can balance it all – delicious food, great service, and meaningful connections. Highly recommended!

Great lunch spot. Food was delicious, and the service was a bit slow for the lunch hour. There weren’t many people eating, but I would go back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was good but my Dr Pepper Fork and Knife Steak sandwich seemed or have a lot of chewy fat. Good atmosphere and not too noisy and the service was really good. It is a little pricey but not compared to everything else in the vicinity.

I had a nice brunch in the spot. It’s dog friendly so I was able to sit with my dog on the patio. They started with a yummy beignet and raspberry sauce. It was awesome. I ordered the peel and eat shrimp for brunch, but they were out. They brought me a sample of the peel and eat shrimp—it was perfect. I ended up ordering gumbo and a side salad with the lemon vinaigrette. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The food options and quality were all great. The atmosphere was nice with an open feel with a modern look. I had some shrimp, rie, and coleslaw. Yum. I wanted the dessert, but I was stuffed. The creme brulee looked delicious, and everyone enjoyed it. I did here that the key lime was good, but not for the price. You will need to find parking, which the convention center worked out.

Cafe Blue Downtown Austin is definitely an excellent seafood restaurant. Oysters, calamari, salmon, and more. We went on a Monday around 6 pm, and only one other couple was there, so we were seated quickly and served quickly. The waiter brought us a basket of fresh sourdough bread and whipped butter. I highly recommend the Island Spice drink. It was a pineapple Jalapeño infused drink with the perfect balance of sweet and heat. The oysters were pricier than other places I have been to, but I wasn't going to miss out on them due to the price. My husband and I also got their rum apple bread pudding for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious.

Nathan made our experience extraordinary! He went above ans beyond finding us the most delicious Beignets. He was attentive to our drinks, meals, desserts! Great recommendations on our food choices, shrimp, french fries, burgers, chowder and key lime pie were all delicuous. The music was subtle, was a comfortable temperature easy to chat and enjoy!
