This place is absolutely worth the hype! Husband and I went in for a quiet date night on a Tuesday, which happened to be half-off bottles of wine night. To start we ordered the Ahi Tuna Tartar (very generous portion, loved the presentation and so yummy!), Patatas Bravas (can't go wrong, but the aioli was phenomenal - we kept the plate and dipped everything in it), Pulpo Encebollado (so flavorful and the octopus was cooked perfectly), and the Croquetas (perfect comfort food). For the main we shared the Barlata Paella, which was good. The portion was perfect for two people to share, especially with all the other tapas we started with. Somehow we found room for dessert, and we ordered the Tarta de Chocolate and Tarta de Queso Vasco. I am usually a chocolate person, but the Tarta de Queso Vasco was phenomenal - it was more of a light, blue cheese like flavor vs sweet, but it paired well with the fresh berry compost it was topped off with and our Rioja wine. The service was quick, friendly and our server made great recommendations & was so attentive. We will definitely be back soon - and will take more advantage of the Tues wine night, their wine list was incredible.

My husband and I went for dinner and were looking forward to it as we have always wanted to try it out. We didn't have reservations so we had the option of sitting in the bar or waiting out 1 hour so we decided to sit at the bar which wasn't too bad.
We ordered a couple of things between us:
1. Fried Calamari- this was good and you get the freshness of the seafood
2. Paella seafood- the taste was a little off and we were wondering if it's coming from the pan. I love paella especially what my husband makes so I think I am probably very picky when it comes to paella so this dish was definitely not my favorite.
3. Grilled Moroccan Lamb - this was truly amazing. This was the best for me. I'll go back just to eat this again.
Service was pretty okay considering how busy they were. They were still attentive.
The atmosphere itself was nice and while it was a little noisy, we were still able to have a conversation.

While the menu at other tapas places might be more accessible and “user friendly” to the average person, and sharables for the price of an entre at other places, the attentive staff, beautiful presentation, wonderful drinks, and flavorful dishes compensated for that small frustration. Will be returning!

Definitely a unique experience and worth a try. Went with friends to try it out. We had reservations as recommended and were seated upon arrival. Our server was awesome, she took the time to explain the entire process to us as this was our first time here. We ordered and the food started coming out very quickly. Food was well prepared and was mostly very tasty. the Wagyu meat balls were GREAT, our favorite. The worse were the mussels as many were crunchy with what I assume is sand? the other negative was it was quite dark in the restaurant, to the point I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the menu. At first I thought my eyes were just bad then I looked around and saw several others doing the same thing. When we were finished, the lights were finally turned up! Even though it was on the expensive side, it was worth a visit to experience this style of dining.

Great food and service! The environment is a little bit too noisy for us. Squid ink paella is a must! Have the Mussels and add some bread for dipping the sauce, you will love it!

We had a wonderful time here. We came at the happy hour and basically ordered most of the menu. It was wonderful.

Went there to celebrate a family birthday recently. We were happy to find we arrived in time to enjoy happy hour prices. Very nice menu, lots of interesting variety.
We had Spanish Olives, Ahi Tuna Tartar, Brussel Sprouts, Baked Cauliflower, Pork Ribs and a Seafood Paella. Everything was tasty and served fresh.
Service was great and it was an good choice for our celebration.

Chef Daniel is amazing. I didn't get one dish or drink that was even so-so. Everything was over the top. I definitely recommend the civiche. The starters are out of this world. I'm a chef and I literally couldn't think of a better way to have things here.

First off, the food is amazing!!! It's definitely on of my favorite dining experiences as of late. The ceviche was so fresh tasting and the seafood in the paella was so perfectly cooked. I always have to get brussel sprouts if I see it on a menu and they definitely didn't disappoint. The Churrasco steak was cooked well and paired great with the shishito peppers and fries. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. I can't wait to come back.
