Wonderful dinner with friends and the food and service was outstanding. We each ordered a different selection so we could try multiple dishes - verify, all were wonderful. Chef de la Vega's ability to balance multi-levels of flavors was perfect in each selection.

Fantastic meal and drinks at El Naranjo! The best mole I’ve had, great depth of flavor and matches so well with the chicken! The meats are so tender and fantastic, the tortillas were fantastic as well!!! If anyone wants some good mole, this is the place!

Really great food here. Our dining party enjoyed our delicious meal. My favorite was the boneless beef short ribs, some of the best short ribs I've tasted. My margarita clasica was very tasty. Can't wait for my next visit.

The food is good if you’re not used to having good Mexican food. Tortillas taste authentic and housemade. Drinks are delicious. Skip the mole negro, it was average tasting. we had an early dinner and they were out of coconut flan. Service was good.

Everything is made from scratch at this restaurant, and it shows! Our cocktails were fresh and delicious. My husband thought his Margarita was the best he's ever had. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful. The mole was delicious, as was the beef short rib. We shared a tree leches cake for dessert; it was heavenly. Even the decaf coffee was wonderful - served hot and fresh. Our server was very helpful going over the menu and made great recommendations.

I came to Austin to visit my niece. We had Sunday Brunch. While the photo does depict the level of deliciousness she really enjoyed their interpretation of Huevos Benedictos which are two poached eggs eggs over a corn gordita, cured loin and Chile de Arbol, infused Hollandaise and sautéed potatoes and poblanos. I tried something new to the menu which was the enchiladas de jamaica which had Hibiscus Flowers ordered with Chorizo. My niece said she really enjoyed her meal and would come back to order it again.

This place is absolutely delicious! The ambiance, the vibe, the atmosphere, all amazing. The staff is phenomenal! Appetizers: Ceviche de la Semana - 4/5 Tostaditas de Atun al Chintextle - 5/5 Queso Oaxaca Fundido - 5/5 Entrees: Camarones y Hongos a la Macha - 4/5 Chuletas de Cordero - 5/5 Desserts: Chocolate Cake - 4/5 Cheesecake - 5/5 Our waiter was amazing! Every single recommendation he had, phenomenal. The queso Oaxaca fundido and tostaditas are must orders. So flavorful and delicious. The chuletas (lamb) was cooked perfect, nice and juicy. The sauce and potatoes that accompanied it were sooo tasty. Definitely order the cheesecake. It's a burnt cheesecake style but is served chilled. The center is creamy and slightly chilled. It's out of this world, paired with the sweetness of the fresh strawberries and sauce...mouthwatering. Love this place, can't wait to come back and try even more! The restaurant itself is sooo cute. Really love the decor.

Came here for a celebration dinner - given the chef’s accolades, our expectations were high. The food was good - we got the duck mole and the sea bass. The sea bass was definitely the best dish - it had a great combination of flavors, the peppers were cooked just enough to still have crisp and the sauce was awesome. The duck mole was a bit underwhelming. I felt like it needed salt and just didn’t have a depth of flavors that one might expect from a mole. Duck was cooked perfectly though. Chips and guac/queso fundido with huitlacoche was delicious too. Cocktails were great. I would go back but I’m in no rush. Do recommend trying it at least once though.
