The dining experience at Roaring Fork is exceptional and memorable.
This location is beautifully built by the lake with upscale ambience.
I can keep talking how good this restaurant is but a piece of advice for you is please do order Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese. You won’t regret.
First, his place has excellent ambiance for a romantic date night or a quiet birthday celebration! We started our evening with a founder's margarita with a blackberry smash. Both drinks were very delicious and made to perfection. We also had the delicious skillet cornbread with whipped butter. My husband selected the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, and had the rainbow trout with truffle fries. The pork tenderloin was very tender and juicy. The corn salsa with balsamic vinegar topped on the mashed potatoes were a perfect balance. The Rainbow trout with green beans was amazing! Wasn't sure if I would enjoy it, but I took a gamble and was pleasantly suprised with how delicious the browned butter and lemon added amazing flavor to it. For dessert, we chose the vanilla bean creme brulee, and we were not disappointed. The crust was toasted perfectly and didn't have that burnt taste that you sometimes get with creme brulee. Overall, this was an amazing meal, and I look forward to coming back!
Green beans served with the salmon was good. The salmon was a bit bland but cooked well. The filet was cooked well, but it was a bit salty. The shrimp and grits, which was a special, was covered in too much sauce. The creamed spinach and the cornbread were the stars of the meal. I also tried the asparagus, and it was good. The mashed potatoes were too thick and stiff and needed salt. Bailey was our server, and the service was good. The cab and merlot were mixed up when they were delivered to the table, but it was quickly resolved. The host and hostess were very friendly and took pictures for us very willingly.
Roaring Fork was highly recommended, and I would go again as it could have just been an off night. But if I only had the cornbread I would be satisfied. We ordered it for an appetizer and another with our meal.
I came here to celebrate my birthday and my FIL’s. I’ve been here several times and always get the ribeye. Again, this time, I got the ribeye and OMG, still mouthwatering as the first time! However, I also ordered the trout entree this time too and it was such a good portion size and very delicious. I think the lentil salad is a hit or miss depending on if the diner likes lentils. I’m actually a big fan. This time was also the first time I ordered creamed spinach. We typically always get the mashed potatoes and corn. But wow, that creamed spinach is so delicious- super homemade tasting. You can even tell they use fresh spinach because the leaves are large (not like those small frozen leaves). Really delicious- I wish I ordered some for to-go!
Of course, we got happy birthday desserts and I ordered a huckleberry bread pudding. If you love bread pudding, you will be blown away! It was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy and the vanilla sauce is so perfect.
Service was top -notch. William was patient and professional and prompt with everything. It couldn’t have been a better evening.
A steak is the way to go at this restaurant. I had a vegetarian dish, which was good, but I tasted the fillet and ribeye, which were fabulous. Fun atmosphere and wonderful service.
Beautiful atmosphere overlooking the water, staff very attentive and food was good. Four stars for food because sliders weren't medium well as requested and fish tacos consisted of a small filet sitting on top of a taco. We went during happy hour so the prices were reasonable enough that it didn't matter as much.
EXCELLENT!!!
Everything, the atmosphere, the food, the ambience, the view of water, absolutely the best. Also, they have the absolute coldest beers which are served in frosted mugs. Stephen and Whitney the Bartenders were amazing too! This place is incredible.
Had a great time with coworkers. The food was delicious, and i will definitely go back.Alittle aloud, and that's cause we sat in the patio.
We got the queso as an appetizer, Waldorf salad, 20 oz ribeye, brussels sprouts, asparagus, Mexican street corn, mac n cheese, huckleberry cheesecake and bread pudding. Everything was yummy. Nice steakhouse.
Expensive, but a nice treat for a special occasion. Got seated, but waiter took awhile to come by, hostess forgot to tell them we were seated. However once noticed waiter was awesome. Even comped dessert for our anniversary and appetizer for such delay. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was a nice time.
