The environment is wonderful, very presentable. A merge between casual, formal, and western; provides a pleasent environment is delectable foods. My quesadilla, terrific, the brussel sprouts... subpar. Either way, well worth eating here. Enjoy!!

The steak-fried chicken, a signature dish, embodies the perfect marriage of crispy, golden-brown perfection and succulent, well-seasoned meat. Each bite is a symphony of textures and tastes that leaves patrons raving. The desserts on offer are nothing short of spectacular – from indulgent chocolate delights to light and refreshing fruit-based options, there's something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The drinks menu is equally impressive, featuring a curated selection that complements the hearty flavors of the main courses. From craft cocktails to a wine list, the beverage offerings add an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. With its warm ambiance, stellar steak-fried chicken, delectable desserts, and fantastic drink options, this Austin gem captures the essence of Southern hospitality and culinary excellence.

I've been coming here for years and have nothing but great things to say. Every single server and bartender has been kind, professional, and efficient. Even when they are slammed. They have a bunch of food options, and everything is very flavorful! I love the chicken fried chicken, 13 spice pasta, and green chile cheeseburger.

Always great! Recommend the Chicken Fried Steak, but this time I had the Crab Stuffed Chicken and it was also fantastic!

Good restaurant with a bit slow service during peak hours. Usually has a wait on weekends upwards of 30 mins. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Host was nice to add us to the line and specified that we had about half an hour wait. 4 people were at the host counter and still seemed a bit mismanaged. Checked back in 15 mins to see if they had updates and they seated us at the table right away. Service was fast and dishes were tasty but had another 20 mins after finishing our meal to get the check. Good quality and portions. Overall a decent brunch place but might wanna avoid during busy hours. They don’t have Sunday brunch buffet any more.

The food was delicious both times we were there. The food is very fresh and nothing to disappoint us. It's an actual restaurant I look forward to eating at b/c everything we've had there thus far was great and we very much liked!! We will be back. The food is reasonably priced for what you get. Highly recommend!

Jack Allen’s is one of those dependably great restaurants where I always feel at home. The draft beer selection is good, and I’ve never tried anything to eat that I was disappointed in. I still love the little taste of pimento cheese that is a little freebie at the beginning of the meal! The best thing on the menu is the guacamole they mash up table side— it’s head and shoulders above any other in town.

I popped in for a quick brunch with the fam. We never knew pimento cheese could not just be good, but really really really good. The blondie pie was ridiculous. We devoured it instantly and had to order a second one.
