I've been going to Cakes by Karen for all of my special occasion cake needs for YEARS. I've purchased multiple cakes (The pictures shown are just what I have on my phone) and I've never been disappointed. Val is beyond amazing and has always made sure the cakes I ordered were to my specifications and even if I didn't have a clue what the specification was, Val always came through and made sure the details of the cake came out beautifully.
Over the years, Cakes by Karen has become a wonderful part of my life and I'm so thankful for them. They've helped me celebrate birthdays, helped me through the passing of my mother and will be also have the honor of being my graduation cake when I graduate from college next year :)

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s baby shower. It was a 2 tier cake but it was so beautiful I did not want to mess it up by adding it on top so we just set it on the side instead. The customer service at cakes by Karen was amazing. I will definitely be back to order another cake for our next baby shower in the next month. Thank you for making our day a wonderful day to always remember.
This cake was for my daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday party. The cake was absolutely beautiful and very delicious. I puchased the butterflies and topper separately and they were happy to add them for me so I didnt mess anything up. I would definitely recommend trying them out, you won't be disappointed.

Our experience at Cakes by Karen could not have been better. I think most couples before a wedding don't have all the info they need and don't know what they don't know. This was us. And Val and Shannon made our cake wedding planning easy, professional and exquisite. They helped us customize a vintage style cake exactly as we wanted with our wedding colors. They were patient and allowed us to communicate exactly what we wanted (we loved our specialty lace fondit...see pic). They also helped us with things we didn't know to ask such as choices to appeal to our crowd, types of cake that present well and are easy to cut. We did taste tastings in advance and loved when guests asked us where we got our cake--it's delicious! They made us feel like they wanted to help us every step of the way. With all the challenges of planning of a wedding it was very welcome to work with Val and Shannon. We loved our end product and would definitely recommend.
Ms. Val Is amazing and super helpful ! The customer service is great . The cakes are delicious and beautifully decorated. I give them a description of what I'm looking for and they come out better than expected everytime.
