Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I think that of all fried chicken places this is by far my favorite. I ordered the 12 piece mixed box and asked for 6 spicy and 6 original which they did with no question. This item comes with 2 large sides- I got the mashed potato and gravy and coleslaw and added a large side of red beans and rice. If you are not into spice I would not suggest the spicy…it is the kind of spice that slowly gets you, if you are into spice like me, you should be satisfied. If you haven’t tried Popeyes before I highly recommend stopping by and picking some up. I believe it is hands down the best fast food chicken anywhere. ( fast food restaurants )

Update: Previously, I left a 3 star review as I’ve had some bad experiences at this Popeyes, whether it was the staff forgetting my items or the quality of the food, it was never consistent. Recently, I have noticed a big difference in the quality of the food as well as the customer service and have decided to update my review to 4 stars. Whoever the current staff/manager of this Popeyes franchise is has been doing an amazing job! Now the food always tastes fresh and the quality has been consistent the last 3 times I’ve stopped by. Today I ordered a 12pc chicken as well as the spicy chicken sandwich and both meals were delicious, the chicken was super crispy, fresh, and golden brown and and def met my expectations. I will continue going to this Popeyes as long as it stays this way. :)

I honestly could not believe that there was an employee standing at the door while the door was still wide open, smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone. I was truly disappointed and disgusted. I understand that everyone had their addiction but at least have the common courtesy to think about the people that don't want their food smelling like cigarette smoke. She stood there long enough for me to get out of the drive-thru line and drive all the way around the building. I didn't even order anything because this situation made me sick to my stomach. This is truly one of the most disrespectful things to do around other people's food. These employees have no respect for others around them. I will not be returning to this location.

Great southern fried cuisine. Never greasy, like the competition. Bargain Tuesday gets 2 pieces of chicken and a biscuit for $3. Recently offering Megan thee Stallion " hottie sauce ", but they run out fast. No problem, I love their house hot sauce. Additionally, they offer almost ten different sauces choices for dipping. Building decor reflects Louisiana style as well as the food. Parking is limited since this location is sandwiched between busy streets. Please be patient with the service. Times are tough for these places and keep in mind staff is over worked and trying their best. They just started offering chocolate filled Beignets, yum!

This location is great 👍🏾 I had a bad experience the 1st time I came here but I have been back several times and they have improved vastly. Chicken 🍗 is always on point and the service is super fast 💨 also. I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♂️ what was going on with the 1st visit but this is now my go to Popeye’s Check em out if you’re ever in the neighborhood and holla at a Playa 👌🏾

Unfortunately the Popeye's locations near me closed but this week I found myself driving by this store. I flipped a quick U-turn and slipped right into the drive through for the best chicken sandwich of my life. The chicken breast was huge, moist and juicy but not greasy at all. The breading was crispy and spiced just right. The bun was hearty enough to last until I was through that massive sandwich yet still soft and chewy. Next time I won't wait till I'm in the area; it's definitely worth driving for Popeye's chicken. Next trip, the 2 piece dinner.

Fast food? Uhh, no… this is SLOW food. I rarely will write a bad review, and this location may just be short-staffed, but it took over 30 mins to get my order (which was a simple 1-person meal). Some others in line had waited closer to an hour. They didn’t tell me until they were putting my order together that they were out of Spicy chicken, and I feel like they only got my order together because I asked about it. Just kind of a mess.
