Del Taco

Quality of the food is 10 times better than Taco Bell. Even the simple taco has better meat and three times the lettuce & cheese than any competition. Use the mobile app to take advantage of specials and speed up your order. They usually have a daily specials, like Hard Taco Tuesday or Soft Taco Thursday. Although, the current app doesn't indicate your pending online order, but you get one via email. 😳

Got here at 1243 tonight, the car rhay was first in line was literally at the window for 14 straight minutes, he wasn’t asked to park and then let them bring it out to them.. nope he blocked the entire lane until almost 1am when they close. Finally he moved and the car in front of us ordered… then it moved a little more and it was our turn and the guy comes on and says sorry we’re closed… we were like sit we have been here for 17 minutes already. He said sorry but there are too many deliveries and we don’t have enough people. How this is our fault it our problem is beyond us but our order should have still been taken and not only did we get turned away but he was very rude about it. We wasted almost 30 minutes if our lives because of poor management and decisions on the employees. Here is the guy that wouldn’t take our order… he also wouldn’t give us his name so I figure here is his picture then.

I usually like Del Taco but today was an exception. The drive-thru person, while friendly, was very difficult to understand and I was forced to repeat myself numerous times. The food was poorly made, very cold and very very messily wrapped. Never a good thing for a drive-thru service. They are only receiving the 3 stars because their window person was friendly. Otherwise 2 stars would be generous…

I NORMALLY avoid this entire area but had a craving for tacos so I stopped to order while giving my order the clerk was rushing me and being very short with his patience I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed no one was behind me so I asked if he could give me about 2 minutes to order he then replied that he was on a time frame with the drive thru I then decided to go inside to order and noticed there were only 2 customer in the entire building that were already seated and eating their food so I asked what was the rush he seemed to have been talking to another employee while leaning against the wall he then told me "audios" at that point I replied the same response back to him and decided not to order then immediately walked out shocked and surprise of his behavior. I will never return to this location his behavior and attitude was totally unacceptable. For this interaction I have given one star because zero stars wasn't an option. This happened around 3:15 pm on 7/3/22 the guy was a young Hispanic male about 5'9 or taller unfortunately I didn't get a name.

Del Taco is one of my favorite restaurants! There isn't one close to me, but I love their food quality, sizes, & choices, so go over pretty often. Prices are good for my budget, service is fast, and until now, friendly. Recently, they got a rude employee. I actually apologized when I was handed my order, and told "Here's your order," with a 'you're dismissed, leave now,' tone. Weird way to make a customer feel. Usually, they are busy every night, but after I got there, only 2 other cars came into the lot. I work nights and they are open until 12 am. The lights were turned off completely in parking lot, street & store, before 10 pm. Even the street sign was turned off. The 7-11 next door was brightly lighted or you would not see Del Taco, at all. I sure don't want them to close,.

I really liked their queso chicken roller. It was a bit spicy but was a nice flavor. I also tried their impossible meat taco and that was ok. It tasted different but not bad. I think it's worth a try and I'm grateful that Del Taco is adding this to their menu. The restaurant was clean and the staff were nice and fast. They have a great menu, it's a nice change from Taco Bell.
