Sabor Mexican Grill

I enjoy their burritos, tacos and juevos rancheros. I think most people will enjoy their burritos the most. My wife thought the taco tortillas were stale once. I think the grilled mahi mahi portion looks small. I've pretty much liked everything there. I think their burritos are what most people will like the best though.

I have Never been here before today. The drive thru was open but no dine that I was aware of, (due to Covid 19, I'm sure.) I had to wait a fair amount of time in the drive thru. There were several cars ahead of me and this was no Chick-fil-A (aka really fresh but uber bland food served at warp speed). I seriously thought to myself is this worth the wait?!!! After nearly 10 mins I received my "Fast Food" and I must say other than the fact that they didn't have Diet Coke or Unsweet Ice Tea I was very, very impressed. Since I had Never been here before I had a few questions about the menu items. Mainly, what is Pastor? (I was thinking Priest, Pontiff, Pope. How wrong I was!) I totally butchered the pronunciation but the woman working the drive thru was Very polite, friendly and knowledgeable and she informed me that it was marinated grilled pork. I ordered a two shrimp taco plate and it was freaking fantastic!!! The food was freshly prepared, hence the wait. They gave me fresh tortilla chips with my tacos. I know they were fresh because they were still warm and crisp when I received them. Long story longer this place rocks!!!

I go to Sabor almost every Saturday to get burritos for my employees! I get the mini-breakfast burritos and they are ENTIRLEY filling, I can not imagine what the regular/large ones are like! Love it, and my team fully looks forward to this every Saturday! Also- great service at this location, just wish I could skip the drive up line when I call in my order.

Twice I have ordered a burrito late in the day when I am tired and hungry and ended up with something so spicy that it is practically inedible. Tonight, sadly, I ate the whole thing and can say honestly that it left me full of regret but nothing else. If I ever get off the toilet I'll make a point to only eat breakfast there, as I do enjoy their breakfast tacos. Their normal level of spicyness is unreasonably hot.

We wanted to try this place out since it has good reviews and it is close to home. We went through the drive thru and had to wait a bit even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The staff was friendly and apologetic about the wait but when we got home the food was lukewarm at best. Even the green Chile on the burritos was cold. Maybe we should have gone in but we literally live two minutes away so even if the food was hot to begin with it shouldn't have gotten cold so quickly so the food must not have been warm to begin with.
