I love this place so much! It’s nice to finally have a healthy salad option in town - a long time coming! My coworkers and I frequent this restaurant at least once a week. Get the Southern Cobb! Make sure to check out the specials on the board. The picketed watermelon is phenomenal!

Very hit or miss. I've had the tuna bowl 6 or 7 times and it's a different experience each time. When they are firing on all cylinders- it's really good! When they are not, which unfortunately has been often, it is really bad.
Crunchy/hard rice happens about half the time. Hard as brick pita is more rare, but does happen.
Most recently they put so much of the soy vinaigrette in my bowl it was almost a soup. I was tempted to ask the clerk if they thought I was someone else and was mad at me. I have no idea how you could possibly drown a bowl in soy sauce + vinegar and not realize what you were doing. It was not very edible.

While road trippin for the week we decided to make a stop in Augusta. After food poisoning in KY (our fault, should've left the second we walked in) and inadvertently eating gluten at a restaurant in South Carolina (we're gluten free), we needed some REAL food. The Southern Salad was AMAZING!! The food was fresh and Jason was very friendly & knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back if we ever come through Agusta again!!

WOW! Such attitude from the staff. Pick a place that actually wants your business, not the uppity salad place that can't handle making simple substitutions. Nevermind that they have a "make your own," they definitely don't want to be helpful.

Let me start by saying I love this place and get food from there almost every week. Healthy options, a great outdoor patio, dedicated parking!! I get the Poke bowl by delivery very often. The tuna on it is always good and they put just the right amount in the bowl, but I wish they would be more consistent with the other ingredients. Sometimes it's a ton of rice, with little or no baby kale. Twice there has been no seaweed salad. Thankfully they are starting to notice my instructions to leave off the red onions. I get delivery because I'm pressed for time at work so there is no way to know what's omitted or different until surprise, you open the bowl. But still a great place and appreciate the free delivery within a 3 mile radius.

This was our fist visit and we really enjoyed it! They offer all kinds of delicious salads, bowls and wraps or you can also customize your own any way you like. I had the original Southern Salad and it was delicious! Super cute place downtown with an outside patio in the back, too.

This place recently opened up and it seems to be targeted towards the millennial crowd and all of the stereotypes associated with that. Since I'm squarely included in that demographic, I decided to give it a try. The ingredients in my "grain bowl" were all fresh and tasty. I ordered the "Triple B" which included avocados, quinoa, BBQ ranch, and a whole bunch of other millennial-centric flavors. I added shrimp to my bowl for 3 dollars extra, and while they only gave me 4 pieces, they were actually surprisingly fresh and exceptionally well seasoned.
My wife made her own bowl with salmon (extra salmon), corn, butternut squash, bleu cheese and roaster peppers and she said she loved it. What I didn't love was the price however. It was essentially 30 bucks for the southern equivalent of a poké bowl.
While the meals were tasty and filling, I can't really feel great about spending that much. In addition, my wife bought a bottle of cashew milk made by "earth candy" which is apparently an Augusta, GA locally owned brand (which is the case for a lot of ingredients in this store... locally owned, farm to table is this places "thing"), and while it was great tasting it also set us back 10 dollars alone for 16 ounces of drink. I wouldn't have encouraged her to buy it had I known. I guess you get to keep the bottle at least...
Anyway, I would rate this place higher if it wasn't so expensive but I guess that's part of the appeal of these kinds of places.
