Um definetly going back ✊🏾😁 Strongly recommend for yall to go also 😍 Food was excellent! We had jerk wangz, jerk pork dinner, & brown stew chicken dinner. Service was was very friendly! It took about 35 mins from order to receive meals, strongly suggest that they better prepare for the Saturday night crowds. Like most Jamaican spots, they ran out of Patties 😮😩

I’m back with another one! 🗣️Google hire me! Shout out to my assistant who has introduced me to “Jamaican” style food and this place… The first time I had it… It was so good and I couldn’t figure out if it was only because I was hungry… Today, I said to self, “Self, try Dats Fire Jerk Chicken” again… I did!…. Being the second time around. I was on a full stomach so I had my order for dinner and it was D-licious! The customer service from the staff was great and it was a lot of food for the money… when I am in the taste for “Jamaican” food… this will be my first thought! Kuddos Dats Fire Jerk Chicken!👏🏽

I was so sad that oxtails weren't available the day I went, however, my brother and I LOVED the brown stew chicken. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. We got kale for the side and it was also really delicious. I thought the jerk chicken was okay, but my husband really liked it. The cabbage was amazing, though. They definitely know their flavors here. Definitely want to go back for oxtails. Highly recommend calling before stopping by. They were also out of jerk pork too. Overall, a great experience. We will be back.

Dat Fire is a small place where you put in your order, but they have a seating area upstairs. I put in an order to-go so I didn't take a look at the seating area. They have a tiny parking lot. I got jerk chicken with collards for my hubby and ox tails with collards for me. The jerk chicken was very tasty all loaded into one foul container with peas and rice, collards and plantains. The ox tails were okay.

The food is AMAZING! I had the oxtailwith peas and rice. I was extremely satisfied! The food is seasoned well and comes out piping hot and fully flavor! There's usually a wait here. I'd highly recommend calling in advance to place your order to cut the wait time down.

saw this new spot open up and wanted to try it. never had a patty before, tried the jerk chicken and it was definitely fire so it fits their name. it was very hot too as food should be! also had the jerk chicken tacos. they weren't bad, but could use some sauce on the slaw.

Went 2/4/17: DAT Fire Jerk Chicken is a small whole in the wall joint serving real deal Jamaican dishes. They have a full diverse Caribbean Jamaican menu. It's located in a prime location blocks from new stadium. The service was great and friendly. I loved the music while you wait. And they cooking on that barrel grill and the smoke flavor is all throughout the jerk dishes ribs and chicken. The food was juicy, flavorful, and not too spicy; I even added more jerk sauce and BBQ sauce to the ribs. The curry was great too. No complaints here (maybe the very limited parking lot), but hey that's life. Its off the beaten path, which I always love local spots that's not tourist centric.

As a person of Caribbean heritage who is a long-time resident and worker in the area, I'm always excited when I find a great Caribbean spot in my neighborhood that nails the product and the service! I ordered the jerk pork and curry chicken. The food tasted great, and I'm so glad that the service matched. I really enjoyed the flavor of the jerk sauce! I like that I was notified when my order was ready for pickup. I was a little bummed when I received a call after my order was placed that they were out of plantains and the cabbage salad, but I did appreciate the call. The serving size of the meat was a little less than I would have liked but the serving portion of the rice and peas was generous. Overall, I'll be back for these flavors and to see if I can finally get a taste of those plantains. One thing that has me feeling a guilty though is that they use styrofoam containers. I would love to see a switch to to-go containers that are more environmentally friendly. I'm willing to pay a little more for the food to see this happen so that I can continue to support this business guilt free!

Delicious food if you're on the go and need that Jamaican taste. It is small, black owned local business. No inside seating, enough outdoor seats for maybe 5-6 people. I ordered the small Curry chicken. The order came with cabbage salad, rice & peas and plantain. Cost about 9.75 before tax and tip. I also grabbed a handmade juice drink from their fridge. That cost $4 before tax and tip. I would recommend this for the working professional who had a craving for some homemade coming.
