Ate here tonight for the first time and tried the first thing I pointed to on the menu which were the shrimp spring rolls and the shrimp/beef eggplant stir fry. I never had eggplant cooked in that form and definitely became a fan. I then dipped my shrimp in the sweet and sour sauce and the flavors were a perfect match. I will definitely be returning to try something else new. The lady helping us name was Listia and she was amazing as well. She’s very sweet. We sat outside and it was the perfect setting. The place is clean and the sweet tea was on point as well. It taste like your normal southern sweet tea and it’s been hard to come by at some locations.

This is a fun casual noodle joint. The food was tasty and they've a great iced tea selection. Mongolian style dishes are popular. The soups are also good, though the Thai soup is spicy.

This was a whim lunch as I was extremely hungry..... Food is good and big portions. Summer rolls were extremely good as well... Tasty peanut sauce.. I want to go back and try a different dish to confirm the consistency... Definitely worth a try. Free parking around back.

Went in withe wife today to try this place out. We had a good experience. Walked in and we were actually planning on takeout so we ordered for takeout but decided to sit down and eat as it wasn't too crowded and there is plenty of seating. Our host was Stephen/Steven and he was a great guy, very knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. I ordered the General Chey's with beef. It is beef strips, broccoli, onions, red peppers in a brown sweet/spicy sauce. It was pretty good, a little dry, could have used a thicker sauce maybe. My wife had the Thai basil with chicken and noodles, that was really good. We shared an order of vegetable spring rolls with sweet relish sauce, delicious. Ample seating, plenty of on street parking, great location on Memorial Drive. Highly recommend and will return.

Doc Chey’s has been a go to place of mine for more than a decade. The food is excellent, as is the service. They retain staff, which says a lot about the owner Rich. in my circle of friends we all love Docs. The only one thing I’d change…… I want the fish tacos back on the menu full time, not just on Tuesday. All jokes aside, TRY THE FISH TACOS!

Good food, just very pricey (more expensive than they say online)!

When the ‘lettuce wrap’ came out I was like “that lettuce is lookin rough” BUT the lettuce wrap is actually a cabbage wrap. Obviously, cabbage is more yellow. Now, I prefer cabbage over lettuce. The cabbage had more flavor and doesn’t fall apart even when absolutely stuffed. The other food here is also really good. I got the spicy Thai noodles and was a little concerned it was going to be dry because the sauce looked really light. It was not dry at all, and actually had the perfect noodle to sauce ratio. This is a counter service restaurant. It does have a bar (not a full service bar). There’s plenty of room for large parties. There is a large patio where you can look at Oakland Cemetery and contemplate mortality. There’s street parking that’s relatively easy to snag. There might be a parking garage with additional spaces.

I have ordered delivery and eaten in the restaurant. I think overall the rating falls between 3.5 to 4.5 stars, depending on what you order. Service is always great, no complaints there, but not all dishes are created equal. I think if you are doing spring rolls, lettuce wraps, and pad thai, you are always winning. But I have had other dishes that have fallen short. I do like that I have options on if I want my tofu fried or not when ordering. I don’t, however, eat meat, so I can’t fully comment personally - but my family has pretty much said the same. They are definitely worth the try, but will caution that it’s a little on the pricey side. Enjoy!

Excellent Asian food that was both fresh and hot. I added chicken to my Udon Noodles and they really give you a good amount of chicken. Customer service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean.
