My new go to restaurant!! Loved the feel of this place as soon as I walked in and the customer service was amazing. They were very patient as we were learning the menu and gave us excellent suggestions. The food!!! So good! The original Ponko chicken (5 strips) with 2 sides was what I picked and loved every bite!! So happy I found this place, just wish it would have been sooner!

Loved it! The owner/manager lady was so sweet, ushering us in for a warm welcome, making sure we would not be lost in the menu as first timers. She walked us through all the specials including the taco Tuesday option with a $3 margarita (sold!). The food was delish, and very generous on portions. Really made sure to treat us like family � Will certainly be returning soon!

Definitely a place to stop and try the Japanese chicken fingers decent sides. The sweet potato fries were awesome. Sauces were good. Could use a little bit more greens along with the rice, chicken and potatoes. Cucumbers were yummy. Just needed more. ask for them

Omg….you have to try there Kamikaze Fries they are amazing. Food came out in just a few minutes after sitting down. Customer service was great and staff was very friendly. The manager Shelia I think she said her name was came out and checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was okay and did we need anything. The restaurant was very clean and probably the cleanest restrooms I seen in a restaurant in a while. Over all I give it a five out of five.

This is my second time coming here! I was in the mood for tacos and chicken and figured I would give Ponko Chicken a visit. I had the grilled island chicken tacos with the Ponko Fries. Everything was delicious. If you’re looking for a low key Taco Tuesday spot, this is a place that will not disappoint. I will be returning very, very soon!

Unexpectedly good! The food was very fresh, but not really hot like it should’ve been. Nevertheless, it was very tasty. The sauce for the chicken was really good and the vegetables were very delicious. It was nice that they offered brown rice as one of the sides.

Ponko Chicken has been a local favorite of mine since they opened the first one in Stone Mountain, GA. My go to is always the spicy chicken with rice and a side of fries. To me the fries are some of the best in Atlanta. This location is clean, fun, and well staffed. Enjoy your chicken!

A robot brought us our chicken, not kidding and the first time I have had this happen. The chicken is very tasty, and they also have a full ba. Interesting place and will have to check it out again. Lots of interesting things on the menu (Japanese potato salad & a hot dog plate). Worth a visit!

I’ve eaten here twice and it’s been amazing both times. The chicken is crispy and tender and just really good. Their fries are cooked and seasoned deliciously; even if you’re not big on fries, like me, try them. Rice is good too. The food isn’t greasy and is high-quality fast food. The sauces are all flavorful and even the pickles are notably good. This location has many good seating choices indoor and outdoor. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy Ponko (and it’s a perfect post rock-climbing meal if you’re coming from Stone Summit).

They’re Open! First I want to say that any business where people are actually working instead of being paid to stay home is impressive to me and I am grateful. The place is clean and the food looks very lovely. But did-wise, I hate to report that I was just not impressed. The grilled chicken wasn’t actual chicken breast grilled and juicy, it was tiny little pieces about 1/2 inch long of packaged chicken pieces. The sauce was tasty but it was not what I would think of as grilled chicken. To me I’m envisioning it sliced and juicy. The sweet potato fries were very tasty and plentiful. My husband ordered the fried chicken but pulled the breading off because it was overly salted (and he is not a picky eater) Our friend got the taco and that looked good. The matcha tea was very sugary. All in all, the place is lovely and the company was awesome. The staff was attentive but I doubt I will eat there again. NOTE: The owner replied to this post and very generously offered to make things right. THIS IS IMPRESSIVE AND APPRECIATED. All I can say is that everyone deserves a second chance and that I hope that when I disappoint my clients that they will be honest with me so I can do my best for them. Thank you Ponko Chicken.

We had an extremely long wait but there was a kind gesture made so I’m giving more star than I initially planned. The food was AMAZING though!!! The chicken was tinder. The OG sauce was sweet and delicious. The rice was tasty and so were the fries. My friend loved his tacos. We’ll definitely be going back! Oh, the carrot Cake and chocolate cake cups were DELICIOUS too!!

Today was take out only. No inside dining but the patio was available and we were informed of that when we approached to order. Very friendly counter folks and the food was quite tasty with reasonable portion sizes.
