Found this place on our way to the airport.
Simple and rustic but good food in large sized portions.
Very enjoyable and the service was friendly.
Good, homestyle food. Flavorful burgers. Nice portions and reasonable prices. Breakfast staff is a little cold; lunch staff are a bit more friendly. Only complaint is they don't rinse soap out of drinking glasses (See photo). I had water as part of my breakfast and found out the hard way that soapy bubbles in glass were from lack of proper rinsing. I made sure to get bottled water on subsequent visits. Overall, good food and atmosphere. Located just down the stairs from 30th Avenue train station.
A convenient, medium sized coffee shop. Right next to the stairs leading to the N or W train station, has been around for a long time, they have a large menu are very reasonable prices. Only once in my many times visits was I disappointed. One time I ordered a hamburger Deluxe and the meat was tough and the fries were extremely dry. Otherwise I've always been happy eating at that other shop.
Ordered a Turkey, mushroom and mozzarella omelette and Food ordered 9:07 a.m. and food delivered at 9:30 a.m. taste is great. Was really expecting the restaurant to call back and cancel my order due to the horrible weather. I saw the delivery guy coming on the bike and felt so bad the conditions were rainy and windy and seeing the guy on the bike coming I felt so horrible. I tipped the guy 20% wish I could do more. Good job on the omelette the potatoes i usually don't eat but I'll try them. Otherwise great work will likely order again in the near future.

The best diner. Service is very welcoming. Food is tasty. I suggest getting their specials for the night. And it is very cheap. Will be coming back again and again.
Food is always very good and very consistent. Its my go-to place for...a ton of stuff. I had a long list but it got too long.

My wife and I loved the place when we were living in the area. Now that we have kids, we brought them along for a nice dinner. The place is cozy, the food is good, and the staff is attentive.
You go here because it’s a welcoming, calm, no-judgement diner / family restaurant with amiable service and rather good coffee. You go here to talk, or to be silent. To eat some big boxed mix pancakes, a perfectly made omelette, a bowl of vegetable soup, and watch the world go by.
A real diner in Astoria. Great prices and good coffee. My food was delicious and plentiful. Have gone more than once for breakfast. Can't comment about the rest of the menu.
Great place for a quick dinner or nice breakfast. Lunch fare is hot amd fresh as well. Good place. Im here 67 years and this corner has always been own ed and operated ny local residents. I ALWAYS STOP FOR COFFEE HERE.
Great diner, comfortable seating, friendly service, I enjoyed a BLT, fresh and reasonably priced. Good location now the 30th Ave subway station has reopened.
