Incredible! Every part of our visit was a delight. The service was friendly and upbeat, appetizers were delicious, and the burger was among the best I've ever had. Very expensive, but well worth it. Highly recommended.
Pomeroy continues to have the best “bar” food in Astoria. They impress me every time. We came for prime rib night and it did not disappoint. Meat was medium rare as recommended with a great crisp on the fat. You can tell that the chef uses high quality ingredients. The bartender always makes a great drink and the beer selection includes local Single Cut. Whenever we’re looking for a delicious casual meal, this is where we go.
They also have the BEST pork chop around!
Ambiance (4/5): The inside is dimly lit and noise levels were medium. It is a nice spot to have a date.
Service (4/5): The service was okay since the venue was pretty busy. However, they did a great job in checking with us and keeping our drinks filled.
Food (5/5): The food was delicious! We tried 4 of their cocktails and each of them were amazing.
They also offer the daily special and opted for the steak since it was comparable to the prices of the main entrees.
Short Rib Tacos (5/5): Amazing flavor jammed into the taco (3 pieces). Nice portions of juicy meat and the sauces that melt together with the meat.
Steak (5/5): It came with a side of roasted potatoes and asparagus. It was seasoned well, donned with a couple slabs of butter and enough fat that it kept the cut fairly juicy.

Great neighborhood bar. The food is delicious, consistently satisfied even on weeknights. Great taps and can pours, always a good selection of local favorites. Love that we can always get a seat at the bar. Staff is very friendly and service is top notch.
The Halloumi & Grilled Vegetable sandwich is probably one of my all-time top 10 sandwiches.
We stopped in for a drink and were greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly and kind and made us feel like a local! This is a must stop in place if you are in Queens! We can’t say enough good things about the atmosphere and the workers, they were incredible! We can’t wait to come back!
I had an excellent time. Decided to have dinner here with my mom, we try and chose a new spot every time she’s in town. We shared the burratta salad which was phenomenal! She ordered the pork chop, which is on the main menu and i ordered the NY strip dinner from their dinner specials. Both were lovely and. My steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. Mom had two margaritas bc they were excellent and i had two spicy mezcalritas - excellent as well. Service was top notch and we really had a lovely time. Will definitely be back. I absolutely loved this place.

Came here for a friend's surprise birthday dinner. Since it was a large group of 15, a prix fixe menu was mandatory. The menu selection was limited to a burger, kale salad, and chicken entree. I ordered the burger, which was pretty small. Luckily the girlfriend can't eat, so I had her leftovers. Try the 4 cheese mac and cheese. I combined it with the meatballs, and it made a nice hybrid appetizer. Decor wise.. the place was very nice!
The fried chicken tasted amazing and they gave a generous portion as well! The price wasn’t terrible by NYC standards either. The chicken Milanese was good as well.
