This hotel was perfect for our stay in Lviv. The room was nice and spacious and very clean. Exceptional bed and linen! The staff was very helpful we had everything we needed and communication for check in and check out was fantastic. The restaurant and food was fantastic too
Beautiful hotel in a cozy place near the Opera
I am very happy to see my home town developing to this level. The front desk guys are super friendly and helpful yet don't interfere in the guest's business. One word - professionals.
Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well equipped.
I recommend to make sure you have breakfast in your staying package. Their open buffet won't disappoint even biggest gourmands.
Awesome hotel. I can say it was one the best I have been already. The accomodation is awesome. There is a quite thick carpet, avoiding noise from "dinosaurs"(people that step really hard on the floor). The bathroom is very well equipped and the shower is pretty good. The breakfast is really good, several tasty options. Also, if you need to leave the hotel before the breakfast opens, you can order a lunch box. Very well located and easy to find. It's about 15 min by car from airport. The employees are very kind and helpful. I really recommend this hotel! You will not regret.
Definitely the best hotel in Lviv. Wow this hotel is impeccable, spotless very modern and stylish. Handmade chocs as welcome treats.
It offers a great location, just around 200 from the opera House.
Rooms have heated toilet seats, which was fantastic.
Hotel and staff were very friendly and worked hard to make our stay perfect. The marble bathroom had a heated towel rack and toilet. The bed was comfortable. One suggestion would be to change the location of the TV, as it was too far from the bed to be useful.

One of the best buffet breakfast in terms of variety I can remember.

Due to a very early train to catch we checked out before breakfast but they kindly provided a packed lunch of roast beef & salad sandwiches, fruit yoghurt and apple cake
Which was very welcome and very much appreciated.
Everywhere in the hotel we if a very high standard.
The room was very comfortable
1.Great location within walking distance to all main city's attractions.
2. Friendly, polite and very attentive staff in the front desk.
3. Rooms are very clean, modern with comfortable bed and pillows.
4. Spacious bathroom and handicap accessible.
5. Hotel is beautifully renovated.
6. Staff in the restaurant area is very friendly and polite. Sergei is one of the staff members at the restaurant who is very attentive to every guest during breakfast time.
7. Breakfast has great selection of fresh and delicious food and if you ask, chef can create an awesome omelette of your chose.
**One suggestion to add iron in the rooms for guests like me that brought some clothes which required light ironing.

During the last 12 months I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel a good dozen times. The location is great, less than 10 minutes to the municipality building and the touristic area around it.
The rooms, both singles and doubles, are all very small but furnished exquisitely. The bathrooms are well designed and particularly the toilets deserve to be mentioned here ;-) : the toilet seats are warmed and one does not have to lift the seat by hand. One presses a button instead and the seat lifts up or goes down. There are one or two more perks coming with these toilets (from Japan???) but I leave that to everybody to find out themselves.
I really do not like it when the service personnel of a hotel or restaurant believe that they are "cooler" then the guests. The Astoria is definitely not one of those places. From cleaning staff to hotel manager, I always found everybody to be very polite and helpful. That was probably the main reason why I enjoyed every single stay in this hotel.
If somebody really wants to find a flaw, then they should look at the breakfast. I found it good and it even improved over time. But as another commentator already opined: the coffee might not be to everybody's liking. Well, I switched to tea. Problem solved and definitely not enough to lower my 5-star rating. :-)
I will be back (as a tourist then, which might be even more enjoyable).
Definitely the best hotel in town. Every time - exceptional experience. Location - cant get any better. You are in the heart of the city... Views, Decor, Breakfast, Service... amazing every time... we stayed in other hotels in the city. None of them have this atmosphere... looking forward to our next visit!
