Great new restaurant coming! Long time locals, Barclay has traveled the world of food, now he and Molly have their own place, BOSQ. Look forward to great food, great energy, great style, and a fabulous outdoor dining spot. Aspen is a better place with Bosq, Barclay, and Molly.!
The duck dish was amazing. I loved the celery salad. Highly recommend.
My wife and I did the tasting menu here and it was amazing! Everything was very well plated and very well explained when brought to the table. Only downside we left still hungry but other than that I definitely recommend. And will definitely be back!
The service started out amazing but sadly went south after our second course.
Food also started out amazing with a tasty starter. The street zucchini was outstanding as well as the perfectly cooked lobster with a delightful sauce. The duck was flavorful but a bit tough. Most all of the presentation was beautiful. The fish was a 1/5 with both lackluster presentation and boring taste.
Could have been a 5/5. But alas with the price should have knocked our socks off.
Interesting mix of cuisine. The plates are small so you may want to order more courses than you normally would. A little pricey, it’s easy to drop over $500 on dinner for 2 here, but it’s Aspen so what do you really expect for fine dining here? Presentations are well done.
This visit was a little over year ago on our wedding day! What a special evening! My husband and I married ourselves at the top of Mt. Elbert this past fall, and we chose Bosq for our "wedding dinner," just the two of us. I had let Bosq know about the special occasion coming up, and they welcomed us with some champagne. The owner came out to chat since he thought we had a cool story, and they went above and beyond to make us feel special.
The food itself was simply amazing. I've never had bone marrow, so that was one of the things we wanted to try. It was delicious! We tried a variety of things, and everything was delicious. The dishes are very "modern" and trendy, and the presentation was gorgeous.
Thank you for a special evening, Bosq!
I normally wouldn't go to a place as extravagant as Bosq, but when in Aspen! My partner and I arrived to town late, and most restaurants in the area closed at 9 or needed a reservation, but we were lucky to come into Bosq when there was some bar seating available. We loved getting to chat with the bartender, Justin; he gave fantastic service and great conversation. The food and atmosphere was exceptional. This was a very special experience and if you're comfortable treating yourself, I definitely recommend it. (Pardon the quality on the only food picture I got, it was dark, so it doesn't do this beautiful dish justice!)
Had a wonderful dinner at Bosq. There aren’t many vegan dishes on the menu, but tell the server and they will take great care of you. We always love having the chef go rogue and prepare something for us. The Chef and owner of Bosq did not disappoint. The mushroom dish he prepared as main dish over a hazelnut miso was absolutely fabulous. This gent has talent! The atmosphere is adorbs and def a family vibe - the owners wife was there and knew everyone. Cool place.
