We ate here after going to Maroon Bells from the shuttle service in the building across the pavilion. First off, this place is expensive. Be prepared to spend 40-60$ for 2 people for lunch. The best thing was the fried mozzarella. I got the barbacoa tacos, and they were awful. Not sure if it was just a slow day but the meat was super dry and tough. Philly was okay, nothing crazy.
Another person we were with got the Fajita bowl, which is misleading because it's a salad. Fajitas are suppose to have meat. White rice and bell peppers.
They then had to order the meat separately after realizing it was an $18 salad. When they brought the meat to us they pretty much threw it down, and it was 4 slices of dry unseasoned chicken...
Great views though.
We tried to talk to a manager and I guess there wasn't one.

Stopped here for lunch after we returned from maroon bells. Food was good and the service was quick. Ordered fajita bowl with Tofu and Chicken Panini. The chicken paninis were really tasty.Loved the outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the mountains along with some fall colors.Overall satisfying experience.

I ordered the vegetable burger here and was not impressed, even though it looks nice in the photo.
The patty was crumbly and the burger was generally dry. I asked for mustard and received packets that were old, chunky, and gross.

I had the most lovely afternoon here after ebiking the maroon bells. My friend and I had the Cadillac margaritas and they were great! We split the steep and deep supreme pizza. So good!! Wonderful service!! I will be back! Scott the bartender was a lot of fun to chat with.

Visited Highlands Alehouse after a nice long day hike in Aspen and enjoyed the outdoor seating and the views Highlands Alehouse had to offer.
The beer options were all refreshing. Didn’t have anything to eat but the food looked great too.
RFTA bus drivers do recommend this place on way back from Maroon Bells so it’s hard to miss out on.

Very good service, way better than any restaurant on the mountain. I am an Aspen local and I always go here when I ski on Highlands. Don’t go to merry go round, go here. Buffalo wings are very good.

One of my favorite places to grab lunch and/or a beer just happens to be about 50 ft from the main chairlift at Aspen Highlands...an incredible mountain. 💯

Food was pricy but delicious! There are plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. There were five people in our group, and our food was brought out to us within 15 of ordering. I highly recommend the pizza and margaritas. It was such a relaxing atmosphere with the views of the ski lift and the walk-up service. This is also a very dog friendly restaurant.
