The staff is friendly, the food is awesome, and the prices are reasonable. The sushi chef is a true artist. I highly recommend the Yakiniku ( well, everything...)!
We met there for a family dinner and it was fantastic. The chef was funny and engaging. The kids loved him. The staff was warm and welcoming. We weren't rushed and were able to sit and visit as family as long as we wanted. This is by far the best hibachi experience I've ever had. Thank you to the chef and staff. You guys rock!

Great food and service. I have to say our chef/ cook made the entire night. White Ninja Dave is amazing. He had a captive audience for the entire meal. Great attitude, great cook, great jokes , interact with the family. They were out of scallops, but with the great care and service we didn’t even care. Give the guy a raise. He deserves it.

Very friendly and fast. Avoid seafood. Took home an order of scallops and shrimp and the smell as I drove made me gag. Couldn't finish the meal. Must have been a bad night. Stick to chicken and enjoy a great meal for a fair price! Holiday hours saved us more than once!
We used to come here every time we were in Asheville. Then Covid hit. When we went recently, nobody was in the parking lot. And nobody was in the restaurant. I really hope they are doing ok. Yes, the building is old, but other than that, I can’t see a reason why it would be empty. The food was hot and fresh, and of good quality. There wasn’t sushi tonight, which was sad, but with only one cook and one waiter, I can understand. 3 single people wandered in and ate as we were there. The owner was there. We recognized him. It is a little pricey ($17.99 for chicken teriyaki). They always had better lunch prices.

This place is awesome, I try to eat here once a week. The food is so delicious. The cook at the hibachi Grill is so entertaining and funny. You get so much food, I always have leftovers and heat up and it's just as delicious as it was the night before. I've lived in Asheville all my life and had never tried this place now I can't get enough of it. If you haven't tried it you should try it you will love it!!
