We cannot believe we haven’t visited sooner! The cheese, shrimp and grits, Brussels sprouts, beets, everything tremendous! Enjoyed my leftovers the next day 😍

The minute we walked in until we left, the staff and service were amazing. Our server Sarah was so knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. There’s an in house sommelier that will answer all the questions you have about any of the wine selections.
The cocktails were delicious (I ordered the merry mule). It’ll be hard to recommend any entrees due to the fact that it changes daily due to whatever is available from their providers. But it’s what makes this place so unique. Starter, we ordered the fried quail over a collard greens fries pancake. Never had quail before and I really enjoyed.
For entrees, my husband ordered the schnitzel and I ordered the trout. Very creative dishes. For dessert, horchata pudding and a butternut squash tarte.

Service and ambience were great. Very nice sitting on the patio out back with the heated lamps. The staff was very kind and attentive. My reasoning for only 4 starts is because I wasn't wowed by the food. It was good, but not spectacular. The local lettuces salad was good, but the NC Sweet Potato and Chickpea Green Curry was just okay. Neither the broccolini nor the chickpeas were cooked enough, as they were both extremely firm. The tofu in it was cut so large that it didn't really absorb any of the sauce flavor. The nutella-chocolate ganache for dessert was fine, but not super special. Seemed like they just pulled it out of the fridge. It is a nice restaurant with lots of effort put forth, but I think their dishes could use some adjustments to bring the wow factor.

My wife and I went here to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Absolutely blown away; easily a top 5 meal we’ve ever had in our lives. The menu changes often but we got fingerling potatoes as appetizer that was served with a house made sour cream and onion dip - phenomenal. We also ordered a sweet potato coconut soup that was maybe the best soup we have ever had. For the entree we had steak dish. No matter what is on the menu, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

What a special dining experience! We knew the restaurant was highly rated but the food, ambience and service totally blew us away. We started with the bread service. Do not miss ordering this. We were moaning after each bite of the rolls with amazing butter. The tossed salad was much more than a tossed salad. Amazing dressing and flavors. The preparation of rainbow trout was the best we have ever had. We almost were too full to order dessert but based on the previous courses, we had to do it. Chocolate chocolate chocolate. We are still talking about the dinner weeks later. Don’t miss this dining experience and ask for Andrew to be your server.

Went the other night for our 3rd time. We brought friends from out of town. Big hit. The food has been consistently excellent, the staff is friendly and we love the ambiance: beautiful lighting, vinyl records playing on the turntable, good table spacing.

Walked in early on Saturday evening and we were seated in their lovely courtyard. Ordered 4 dishes new to the menu that day and all were absolutely delicious: pork Rangoon, fried quail, pumpkin cavatelli, lamb lasagna. Also got cheese which came with the most tasty seeded bread (non-rising, gluten free). Drank a merry mule cocktail which was yummy. Our server and the entire staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and delightful. Highest compliments to the kitchen. We can't wait to come back!

Everything about our experience was wonderful! The food choices were so unique and everything was delicious. We tried pig ears for the first time and loved them with the flavors they were accompanied with. Only critique I have is how small the entree flounder was, other than that it had great flavor. We also had the plum upside down olive oil cake and chocotaco they really made the night for us! My fiancé got the French press coffee and the presentation was so fun, coffee was delicious. Staff was also super friendly and welcoming!!

We had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience at Jargon. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and the food + presentation was exceptional. We also met the owner, Sean, as we were leaving- he was very warm and made us feel special. My fiancé and I were in town visiting from the Philadelphia area and just so happened to choose this restaurant- SO glad we did.

Great service and atmosphere, and pretty good food too. Walked in without reservation around 7:45 pm on a Saturday. Waited about 10 minutes while they made room for us at the bar. Very quick service. Especially good were the smashed potatoes and trout and chocolate taco. Nice wines available by the glass due to this fancy system that pulls one glass out of the bottle at a time. The Patience Young Grasshopper was maybe the best dessert drink I’ve ever had.
