Lovely little place that we just happened to stop at for a quick coffee on our way to downtown. Seemed like a neighborhood spot with a lot of locals. Great menu and service!

Coffee shop, eatery, bakery, bar - they seemingly do all of these things very well. The cappuccino was just the right bitter to foam ratio. Vast selection of teas. Homemade fresh pastries and granola along with sandwiches rounds out the food menu. Great place to visit for friendly service and good food and drink.

Great little spot! Good food, the bagel was a little greasy but I asked for bacon 🥓 🙃. Friendly service and a floor plan that was super accommodating. I sat at the bar and had house coffee. Clean bathroom and it appears this place turns into a bar at night. Wifi was a little spotty and slow, It could be because of the rain. They normally have water you can stay hydrated with and various condiments are available to compliment the meals. Coffee was delicious 😋

I have been going to Filo for many years. I don't often write reviews but last nights experience has prompted me to write one; and they deserve 5 stars. After standing in the rain at a concert at Rabbit Rabbit, where everyone was asked to leave because of lightening, my two friends and I were drenched yet we didn't want to end our evening together. So we stopped at Filo. We were welcomed by a wonderful server. She found a warm area for us to sit (we were cold from the rain), she listened to our story about our experience and because we didn't get to see the band, First Aid Kit, perform, she pulled up their music and provided us the most delightful evening and altenative concert experience. We shared a bottle of wine and appetizers and just as we were about to leave, she offered us bakery that they would not be able to sell the next day. It was a perfect ending to a stormy evening. Thank you to the server, and staff, who was so genuinely kind and attentive. Also, thank you Filo for your many years of serving the community by providing a welcoming atmosphere and absolutely delicious food, pastries, coffee, teas, and wine. You made our night so special!

Very cute spot. Decor is fun but elegant, almost feels like a friend's living room. Good coffee and chai and pastries. If this place was downtown or in WAVL or RAD it would be packed all the time. I am grateful it isn't because it's become my fave spot for coffee and a snack while working or studying. Haven't been at night yet but I love the concept. Drink menu looks fantastic and look forward to grabbing a cocktail. Will update!

There are plenty of good coffee shops in Asheville however if you’re looking for a great one look no further. Limited parking may be the hardest part. Everything else though fantastic. From the breakfast sandwiches to infused lavender iced mochas you’ll be happy you stopped by. Plenty of seating inside with separate rooms and a large bar area. Also a fair amount of patio seating both in front and back. Group favorites include egg cheddar smoked bacon sandwhich and really any of the fresh baked goods.

Wonderful place. The food was delicious and the service was great. The place is charming and cozy. We had a vegetable wrap and a veggie stuffed baguette accompanied with an oat latte and a fruit smoothie. We highly recommend this spot. Lots of vegetarian options.

Reviewing the coffee shop! Cool art for sale, nice vibe, right level of busy. I’m not sure I ordered the right coffee, because the double cappuccino in a small cup still tasted very milky to me, and the Americano was just not good. Maybe next time I’ll try filter/drip coffee. I also had an almond croissant, which had good flavor & texture.

Love this place. Great breakfast and coffee spot. Had their quiche and spinach pastry, which was amazing. Found out they have dinner, which was exceptional as well. Compliments to the chef! Will definitely be back for both the great customer service and food!
