Clearly a home town favorite with a steady customer base. Very good Italian and Greek food. Generous portions; consistently high quality in my experience. There's a usually a hustle bustle atmosphere with the wait staff breaking a sweat as they try to accommodate all the customers in the packed, cramped, warm dining area. The place could use an expansion and a lower staff:customer ratio, but the yummy food is worth a little wait and crowded conditions. Wait staff maintain a friendly demeanor despite the demands placed on them. I always give them a generous tip.
Loyal customer for a reason!. I have been a loyal customer to this restaurant for a dozen years and it won't change anytime soon. If you think you like places like oh let's say the way over-rated apollo flame, you will love it here. There is a reason that this tiny lil place is jam packed in the evening. HUGE portions, great prices and when the experienced wait staff like Judi is on the schedule that will not be lacking either. Best ranch dressing, fries, grilled chicken, hot subs, tortallini, chicken alfredo, oh this lists goes on and on EVER!
Ate here for the first time this past weekend. Nice selection of Greek, Italian, pizzas and subs. I got a large philly steak expecting it to be maybe like 7-8 inch sub. But it was way bigger and completely filled the takeout container. Would def eat here again!
Service was great and the food is just as good. So many good choices to choose from I will have to return very soon. Would definitely recommend.
My wife and I love Papas. It’s our go-to. Every time we go, we know the food is always going to be good. Portions are always more then ample. We always bring food home. We know the wait staff at this point and everyone is friendly. Great value. Pizza is great. Subs are awesome. Greek food is fantastic. Always fun to go here.

This place wasn't to shabby! Got my orders right and in a timely manner. Food was tasty and cooked properly. Will definitely be eating there again.
I gotta say I love Greek style pizza, when I go to a pizza joint I always scour the menu for Greek options. Papa’s Pizza was in no short supply, between their apps, entrees and salads there was plenty to choose from. I was even allowed to switch the traditional tomato based sauce to oil based. The staff was polite and attentive, service was quick and the atmosphere was spacious enough for larger parties but maintaining that cozy feel. If you haven’t tried Papa’s Pizza do yourself a favor and come in to this family-style restaurant.

Friendly waitstaff and great food. Another small family owned gems that make Asheville such a great place to live. Shop and eat local!

Great service, stellar food! Friday night is busy, so expect a bit of a wait. We came in for dine-in, spent about an hour here total. Repeat customers already, bit we will be back!
