Best tasting salsa bar of any I've had in my 2 years as an Asheville foodie. Tomatillo is by far the best I've ever had. The "chip salsa" is amazingly delicious.
The tacos were great! Nothing like getting stuffed on 3 tacos for $6!!
I'm just sad it took me two years to eat there.
Excellent food! You’re treated to complimentary chips and salsa when you sit down. The red salsa was more flavorful to me than the brown but both are decent. The enchiladas were delicious and the perfect size. The margarita was also a flavorful margarita- beware: the medium is quite large
Order the large margarita at your own risk. They are huge! Super friendly staff and clean. Only downside was in our combo platter the enchilada and burrito were basically same thing with a different sauce, so didn't get the variety we were aiming for.
This was my first time eating here. Very nice atmosphere and super clean. Their food was prepared a little different from the Mexican food where I usually eat but it was yummy and prepared as I requested. Large portions of food and I do apologize that I didn't take pictures of my plate when it arrived. The waitress checked on us often. They only have Margaritas and beer other than soft drinks and water. I enjoyed my time there and the food.
Excellent food and good service. Would have loved to give them 5 stars if they did not have several Bud Light signs inside on display. I did not see any other displayed brand of beer signs. Wished I could eat there again but I don't like trying to eat excellent prepared food while nothing to see but Bud Light advertisement
Every guest looked like they were Hispanic; good sign in terms of the food being authentic & good. Plus the lunch special price was very reasonable.
I had the carnitas which were great; neither fatty nor greasy. Large serving & free chips & salsa.
Easy to find if you are visiting the Biltmore Estate: just turn left, pass Wendy’s & Long John’s & it’s in the corner.
Excellent Mexican food and great service! My husband and I enjoyed the salsa and beans to dip our chips and they even had two spicy sauces to try as well. My husband got the fajita burrito and I got the enchiladas la bandera. The enchiladas were so delicious and moist! Sometimes shredded chicken can be dry, but these were not. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back!
I liked this place a lot. Very low key. Good vibes. Nice booths to sit in and enjoy a meal. Service was kind and hospitable. This is an affordable fajitas and enchiladas Tex-Mex type of place. It’s nice to find a good place to eat in the often gimmicky Asheville. I would go back here.
Fajitas for two. A heaping, furiously sizzling mound of shrimp, beef, chorizo and more served with lots of sizzle along with tortillas, rice, refried beans, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Portions have reduced a bit and no salsa bar in use during our latest visit. The price has nudged up a little
but for less than $25 you can't beat it.
Excellent food and generous portions. Pollo Fiesta was loaded with fresh veggies and chicken and had lots of flavor. Hubby had camarones a la diabla and said it was excellent also. Would definitely come again.
Classic no-frills old school Mexican restaurant with your standard decor, chips and salsa. The hostess was nice, ordering was easy, and my food came out quickly.
The chips were fine, the bean dip that came with the salsa was bland, the salsa was good.
I ordered the tejanos burrito - steak with both red and green salsas. The green was the clear winner. The red danced just this side of marinara. The burrito was massive, stuffed with beans and rice and served with shredded iceberg, guacamole, and sour cream. No small portions here.
The price is insanely low, like pre-covid low. I walked out of there paying just $15 for dinner - including tip.
