A definite dining destination if you are in Asheville, even if you are not!! A playground for your tastebuds, every dish is a treat!! If you are lucky enough to be there Thursday, Friday or Saturday, the orange pineapple rolls are a must!! Of course we had alcoholic beverages, a chocolate martini and cocktails, but including dessert, we left very satisified for around 90.00. Priceless for the experience, quality of food and service!! Highly recommend...

I popped into Red Ginger on my walk home from Downtown this evening and got an order of Szechuan wantons and a "Beef Meets Shrimp" roll. Wow! I devoured them, and loved every bite. The beef on the roll was very tender and the flavor was great. The wantons are one of favorite dishes in all of downtown! Yum!

Visiting from Charlotte, Red Ginger was recommended by many family and friends. For this town, this restaurant is a gold mine! Everything we ordered was amazing! Food came out faster than expected and was perfectly seasoned! Our service by Josh was phenomenal! Can't say enough about this place and we've been to many dim sum / authentic Chinese places (including new york and chicago). Do yourself a favor and stop in. Yum! Can't wait to be back!

We visited this restaurant years ago and we were pleased to see they have not changed. Always fast service and excellent food. There are so many choices on the menu it makes it difficult to choose. Your best option is order a lot. The food is always presented beautifully and you’ll want to take it in for a moment, but you really can’t wait. Last time in Asheville we ate here two nights in a row. It could happen again on this trip.

This place is spectacular. Everything was so wonderful from the service, to the atmosphere, the food, and the price point. So so tasty and I will be returning. You MUST try the green beans, seriously. I will be dreaming about them until I can return. Our server Alexis was kind and attentive. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We love going to this restaurant for dimsum and dumplings. They have a wonderful selection of dinner entrees as well. The ambience is great for a date night out or a relaxing lunch with indoor and outdoor seating. The service and food is always impeccable when we visit.

Loved the atmosphere here. We stopped in for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Casual, nothing fancy. Very comfortable. Our waiter was great, explained the menu since it was our first time and didn't make fun of me for asking for a fork for backup 🤣 I ordered the steamed pork ribs and duck noodle soup. Both were made to perfection. Prices weren't bad at all. Will definitely stop here again next time we're in the area.

We managed to get seated right away, and we chose to sit on the patio since the weather was terrific. It's great that it's tapas style, it was nice to be able to try a few dishes. We had the Shanghai dumplings, which actually come with 6, not 4. (Might have gotten a little hungry before the photo) The chicken with sticky rice. And the roast duck noodle soup. It was all delicious, and our server was top notch

Great place for upscale Chinese dimsum to share or eat on your own. Delicious and what I would expect from such a busy restaurant. Was not expecting to find a place like this in Ashville, NC but there are plenty of interesting restaurants in this area. Very busy with lots of foot traffic. Very trendy and upscale.

An incredible find and place for an amazing night for date night. The service and care is top notch. The dishes are plentiful for two to share again and again. The string beans are an absolute must.

Red Ginger Dimsum & Tapas in Asheville was a decent Asian dinner place. We visited on a Thursday evening and were seated promptly. It took around 15-20 mins for someone to notice us and take our food order. We got the Spicy Chicken, the Buddha Bean Curd Rolls and the Mango Lover rolls. The Spicy Chicken had a kick to it, and we thought that it could do without the deluge of red chilies in it. However, it still tasted better than average. The Bean Curd Rolls was okayish—3 rolls for 9 dollars is a fair price but I thought the taste in the rolls was wanting. The Mango Lover Rolls were a bit too sweet and one-dimensional. The server was quite polite and gave us suggestions for places to explore in Asheville. Overall, Red Ginger is not THE BEST Asian food that you can have, but it’s still a decent option if you’re looking for a better-than-average Asian food restaurant. Their menu is replete with dumplings, rolls, wraps, noodles and other items. They’ve seating both inside and outside. The restrooms inside were clean. Parking nearby is mostly street parking which isn’t difficult to find during off-peak hours.

Great food and very friendly and helpful staff! The pork dumplings with broth inside was worth trip from Waynesville by themselves! But it didn’t stop there because we enjoyed the Dan Dan noodles, lettuce wraps and Leachee Bellini were fantastic! The waiter was very helpful in ordering and making choices for our late lunch! We ate outside and the weather and fall view was beautiful!
