Cafe 86

One of my Favorite Filipino modern cafes. The drinks are creative and flavorful! My go to is the iced cookie butter latte, supercharged. We tried the upside down aalo halo for the first time; their best seller. I've been missing out the whole time I've known about this spot! Lastly, all their pastries are awesome. Mostly ube themed but still high quality and creative. I definitely love this place.

While in the neighborhood, I was craving a boba drink. So I looked to see what was around, and Cafe 86 popped up! So there hubby and I went. Parking was painless, and we walked our way in. It was a bit crowded when we went, but that didn't steer us away. I decided to get something different ( I usually go with a Thai iced tea) I went with a coffee milk tea. I was a little annoyed, though, because I wanted to get the smaller size but was told milk teas come in, the bigger cup size; ugh. Hubby got a caramel frap and wanted it in the larger cup but was told it only comes in the smaller cup size; double, ugh! We didn’t wait long for our drinks. I took a sip of my coffee milk tea and at first I was not feeling it. But after a few more sips, it grew on me, lol. Hubby enjoyed his drink as well. If there wasn’t an annoyance cup situation, I probably would’ve given 5 stars. They should look into changing that. Anyways, I would like to come back to try some of there Ube desserts. I did get a small chocolate parfait which was tasty. I’ll be back!

I came to pop in after lunch with a friend and I'm so glad I did. The coffee was delicious. And I got tres leched and cheesecake with Taro and it was to die for. The staff is friendly and they were super busy so I'm glad they had a cheery attitude even though they were slammed. Everything is delicious here.

It was our first time here, we ordered just take out because they were closing soon. During pick up he went inside and picked everything up pretty fast. We loved that on the door it says dine in customers have to be vaccinated. 👍 Nice to know we can go and not feel so weary in the future. But, back to the food and drinks! Everything was so so good! We got foe drinks, The Rosie, which was milk tea with rose syrup and the Ube Milk Tea with boba, cup size was perfect enough to fill us up and taste was not super sweet so just right enough to enjoy it. For sweets we got the Ube Tres Leche, Ube Crack Cheesecake, and the Ube Leche Flan Cupcake. We were so happy with how they tasted and the proportions of everything.👌 This was my first time trying Ube products as well and I'm glad we chose this spot 😊

Delicious ube desserts here and instant mouthgasm when you take a bite out of the ube truffle! Incredible how much flavor it packs into a small yet hefty piece of dessert. Really recommend it. Ube cheesecake was too sweet for my liking but I'm sure others with a sweet tooth will enjoy them. Ube butter bar was good, not too sweet and can't go wrong with the ube leche flan cupcake either. FYI you visit in the evening, you might not have many selections to choose from. Good spot if you're in the area after lunch or dinner and craving some ube desserts and drinks.
