Pizza Hut

I called to the store to let the delivery driver know that the address I provided was a hotel. The young woman on the phone informs me that my entire order was voided 10 minutes ago because they were out of Dr. Pepper. “It’s Pizza Hut policy to void the order.” I have had multiple orders from Pizza Hut were they would just substitute the drink if they don’t have what was selected. Then she proceeds to tell me that they tried to call me on 3 different phones but my number is “disconnected”. I asked her to read the number back to me that they allegedly called and would you imagine to my surprise it was the same exact number I called the store with and was currently using to speak to her on the phone. I would have rather heard her say it was close to closing and they weren’t taking anymore orders than those made up lies.

I ordered a Personal Pan Pizza using their app. Walked in and got it. Employees were friendly. Pizza was hot, fresh, and tasty. No complaints. It seems like a lot of the frustration with chain pizza places lately is with delivery (delays, shortage of drivers, accuracy, etc.). So, maybe save yourself a little headache and order via the app and carryout instead of having it delivered.

One of my thin crust pizzas was undone. The bottom of the pizza/crust was soft & doughy. All of the toppings were falling off and the pizza would completely fall apart when you pick it up. It was disgusting. After flipping over multiple slices and tossing them out, I couldn’t even stomach to eat the slices of the other pizza.
