The best brisket sandwich ever. My husband and I have to share because of large portion and they appreciate our military and offer a discount to those who have served.
I’m from Chicago and have enjoyed some great ribs in my lifetime but nothing like the ribs here. No fat and such flavor. I was stuffed after three but couldn’t stop, devoured all 6. The fresh lemonade was so refreshing. I’m picky about coleslaw but there’s was so delicious. Definitely would make the trip again the next time I’m in Washington.
The food is definitely southern style down to the barbecue sauce. The meat is always tender and juicy. We got the lunch special prime rib sub with Au Jus dipping soup. You have a choice of one side dish from coleslaw, ranch beans,Texas style beans, corn bread. They provide our table with hot barbecue sauce and regular barbecue sauce in a squeeze bottle. What makes this establishment one of a kind is that they smoke their meats in house. They have two southern styled smokers out in the dining room. The atmosphere was definitely ranch style comfort, food was incredibly filling. For two people your going to spend around $35-40. Worth the price if you ask me. The table and chairs were clean. The bathroom was clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves smoked barbecue food because it’s fresh, hot and keeps you full for hours. Everyone I seen inside was happy to be here.
Friendly, helpful staff, excellent food! I'm from Texas and have sampled BBQ all over the U.S. I really didn't expect to find good BBQ in WA, but this was great. Easy walk from the Best Western, if you are staying there.

My first BBQ in washington coming from Texas...the land of the world's greatest BBQ. This gets 5 stars on Washington's standards but it would be a 4 in Texas. They don't serve Mac n cheese... so that's new.. a bbq place with no mac and cheese. BUT the sides we did have were good. My wife loved the potato salad and even ordered more to go. Corn bread was also super yummy. Meat was all cooked to perfection.. will be back again!
Edit: came back yesterday (15 may) because my wife wanted potato salad. The food was amazing. We love this place. We snacked on the half order brisket dinner. So so good.
Probably one of the best BBQ places I've had here in Western WA. People are friendly, food is great, and you get to eat while a stuffed moose stares at you.
The half rack rib dinner is always fabulous. I suggest the chicken corn chowder and cornbread for sides. They have a small beer and wine selection if you come to dine in. The most consistent, best BBQ in the north end.
Friendly staff that was able to give good recommendations. Had the Moose Creek brisket sandwich and ranch beans. Good BBQ for Washington. Space is clean, large, and not crowded. Relaxed atmosphere.
First off- Great service. Kind and welcoming.
We had the brisket sandwich and half rack. They were both on point. Tender and good smoke. The sauce was also tasty. Slaw was 9 of 10 (according to my 15 year old). Potato salad was rich and tangy. Totally worth stopping in!
