I've been to Twyrl a couple of times (so far...I'll be back!) and was impressed with the freshness of the food and the excellent service. The manager makes a point to greet all the guests, which is a really nice touch. Great place in Arlington to enjoy al fresco dining.

Great experience! The service is friendly and quick, and the patio seating is very nice. We enjoyed the mix and match pasta! We ordered: Spaghetti with meatballs and marinara Rigatoni with meatballs and vodka sauce The Diavolo

Another amazing google find. Very hard finding daily fresh made pasta. Not too far from home, Twyrl Pasta Bistro has a large selection of fresh made pasta and noodles. We started off with the very nice Twyrl salad that had so many fresh and tasty vegetables with mixed field greens. My wife and I chose rigatoni pasta. I had the Beef Ragu that had so much meat sauce I couldn’t finish it. Leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch! My wife had the make your own pasta; vodka sauce with mushrooms and caramelized onions. We had a really nice chat with one of the owners, Chris. If we were able to leave a 10 star review we would. If you are within one hour, I suggest dining at Twyrl for your next meal. Back again on Sunday. Thank you Chris for your nice reply to my review. Tonight I tried the meat lasagna with a glass of Super Tuscan red wine that paired perfectly. My wife had “make your own” rigatoni, creamy basil sauce, sautéed mushrooms and steamed broccoli that was creamy, cheesy and silky. We started again with the Twyrl salad with house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We ended with the fresh, super moist carrot cake with gelato. Once again, I would love to leave a ten star review. Super busy tonight but staff were on their “A” game; hustling to keep people happy. Side note: we sat at the “Chef’s” table to witness the very efficient kitchen and marveled how clean it was. This is one of our all time favorite places to dine. So glad we moved to the area. Once again, great job Chris and team. Back again on Wednesday. Chris suggested Pasta Carbonara that was creamy, savory and had some crunch from pancetta. My wife had the creamy basil over rigatoni with steamed broccoli. We ended the meal with the most delicious cheese cake with strawberry & raspberry glaze with birthday candle. Back again Oct 29, 2019. Had the amazing Twyrl salad again which is a great way to start our meal. I had the beef ragu with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions that was over the top amazing and super tasty.

Twyrl Pasta Bistro is homemade pasta . I had Romain salad is huge portions . I felt full before Main course came scampi shrimp. Haha . My friends had carbonara. The staff was friendly. Tiny space but on weekdays might be better to visit.

Super cute place. Some might call it “boutique” others might call it extremely small. We were squeezed into a corner without real chairs. The pasta was perfectly al dente but I wasn’t overly impressed with the carbonara. Get the diavolo or the clam based, both excellent. Portions are generous. Service wasn’t all that knowledgeable either: when asked why the restaurant was known as Venetian, our waiter said “that’s the Massachusetts way of saying it’s from Venice”.....(?)

Loved home made pasta! My kids loved the spaghetti- "I could eat a thousand bowls!" My husband ate all of his Diavlo. We went here after eating sandwiches at the coffee place next door bc we were still hungry- so I was shocked he ate all of it. Plus the serving size is generous. Owner and server were very nice and pleasant.

This review for chef Anka and the rest of the team at Twyrl is long overdue. I cannot speak highly enough of them. My partner and I got married at Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester last fall, and Twyrl catered the event. We'd dined at the restaurant a few times previously and been very impressed by the service and quality of the food, so I reached out to Anka and asked if she did any catering. We were delighted when she said yes! Prior to the wedding, Anka met with us twice to go over the menu. We ultimately selected two kinds of salad, vegetarian and meat lasagnas, and two pastas with three sauces, as well as meatballs, grilled chicken, and broccoli. Our guests were thrilled with the food and went back for second and even third helpings. In addition to preparing the dinner, Anka made three different desserts, including a gorgeous wedding cake that she decorated with fresh flowers. We had a number of guests who have dietary restrictions--several are gluten-intolerant, one is vegan, many are vegetarians--and Anka accommodated every single request. She made gluten-free pasta and a vegan red sauce and salad dressing, AND she baked a small gluten-free cake as well as serving gluten-free mini cheesecakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Sternos are not permitted in the 200-year-old barn, which is where we had the reception, so Anka provided electric warmers for the food. Additionally, there is no kitchen on-site, and therefore no sinks. The shop where we rented our dishes required everything to be rinsed prior to returning, so Anka's staff set up a station outside with trash cans and buckets and scraped and rinsed every. single. dish. In the dark. Seriously. Thank you, Anka, Christian, and the rest of the Twyrl team for helping make our wedding so special. We are so happy that you're part of the Arlington community!
