Really great atmosphere, outdoor dining, pet friendly, etc. Friends really liked the drinks, but the food was pretty average for how expensive it was. I also really don't like the idea of paying for food before it arrives. We ended up accidentally ordering two of the crab pretzels, which were okay but way too rich to eat two of. When they arrived the waiter basically said we were out of luck because that's what the order said. That would never happen if we had ordered with an actual person. Otherwise you have to do everything yourself, get your own water, get your own boxes, etc. No refills on any drinks, even soda.

Let me start with, you must try the pretzels.
This a a great place for casual hang out, dinner or just meeting up with friends. They have a great outdoor seating area as well and are very dog friendly. I saw one reviewer call this a hole in the wall, far from that. A very enjoyable place to visit.
All of that said, let me go back to these pretzels, they come in several different flavors/varieties, but they are hot, fresh and HUGE. Bigger than a diner plate and can feed several people as an appetizer.
The beer selection stays updated and not boring. They have an expansive beer menu to keep anyone happy. We had no problem finding either a German favorite or an IPA depending on the mood.
My wife and I both had the Bronson Reuben which were outstanding. The sandwich is large and will not leave you hungry.

Delicious food and great service. Lots of space and I love that you can order at the table. Great beer selection!

Place is good. It gets so loud at peak hours though, seating can be a bit of a headache, service is average for the most part, good draft selection, plenty of tvs. Food is nothing to boast about but it's not bad. Haven't tried the cocktails, definitely gets the North Arlington crowd and not a traditional beer hall vibe but that's to be expected. If it was quieter and had better seating I'd give it 5 stars

I love the pierogi's! The sauerkraut is sour and complements the pierogi perfectly.
The waiter with the suspenders seemed to be enjoying himself and that's always nice.

The pretzels are amazing! Much better than expected and also much larger. We're talking larger than a medium pizza at most places. The schnitzel was really good when fresh but I lagged eating it and it became less awesome. That's my fault though. Beer selection is decent and there's plenty of hard spirits. I only have two minor complaints; it's way hot and humid and it's very hard to hear people even at your own table.

This bar is awesome, except it is literally 8000 degrees inside. I think the air conditioning is broken or something, but my friends and I go there every week, and we are melting within 10 minutes. It's hard to imagine how the staff could even function in that heat.
Despite that, though, the bartenders, Craig and Matt, are so friendly and fun and make every experience so amazing every time! But PLEASE fix the AC!! The two stars are only because of the temperature otherwise this place is a 5 star time!

Beer and shared apps for 3 plus a pup. Sat outside and really enjoyed this spot, the food and beer were very good, and the dog friendliness makes it even better. Food and drinks come really quickly. We'll be back!
