I went to buy some stuff one day with the other girls and the shop assistant behaved very strangely. He put on an odd smile and asked questions such as which one of us is single. When I asked him if I can use my 7-11 card for a discount, he teased me saying when do you want a discount, today or tomorrow my friend. I do doubt what he was thinking, if he likes to imagine power playing females in his mind as a hobby. Also, the coffee and soda fountain area has a swarm of fruit flies that you need to be quite careful not to drown one in your cup. If you haven’t been seeing what a swarm of fruit flies looks like for a while and would like to have the experience/refresh your memory, I definitely suggest that you visit this store.

The man behind the counter was beyond rude. I had asked him if he was a fellow Bengali as I thought I heard him say something in Bangla, and he went to yell at me for asking that question. I’m Bengali myself and understand it may not have been my place to assume but as that was not at all my intention (given he was speaking a language similar to mine) I don’t understand why the literal yelling was needed. This felt absolutely rude and awful and I’ve never experienced behavior such as this. I know one bad review won’t change your mind but if you are looking at this to shop, I’d recommend you to find any store absolutely anywhere else. What a rude and (dare I say) racist worker. And i am going to reach out to their corporate offices to further complain because again I don’t understand the hostility when my question was not at all in any bad faith or attempt. I even explained to him that it was an innocent question but he still proceeded to yell at me.
