We've been fans of Rays the Steak since it opened across the street and didn't take reservations. We've been wanting to try The Tasty Dugout forever but it's wonky hours and my location in suburban Maryland made it difficult to accomplish. Finally we made it there! Familiar with khachipuri, I was excited to try the "dugout." It did not disappoint. The flaky crust imbued with gooey salty cheesiness. The egg added a lovely fatty creaminess to the dish. The red spicy scoop in the middle was not too spicy and had a great accompanying flavor. We ordered a side of wild mushrooms that gave it a fantastic earthy addition. Of course we ordered a few yummy milkshakes to wash everything down. Word of caution: The khachipuri is made to order and takes about 25-30 minutes to come out. Yum!
