Mr Days Sports Rock Cafe is the best, great place for meeting nice people, from the Host being greeted at the door to the Bartenders and Servers are all very friendly and very welcoming, the food is great they have good quality control getting my order to perfection every time. Several years ago my Wife and I spent New Years at Mr Days and got the full VIP treatment with a really good table and a great waitress who catered to us all night long all the way into the New Year. I give Mr Days 5 Stars!!! A great place to have a good time good food, quality service, and a great atmosphere!!! If I was Siskel and Ebert I would give Mr Days Two Thumbs Up!!!
I have been here several times for lunch. Great daily specials, good variety, something for everyone. Food is surprisingly good, unexpected for a Sports bar. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. I note the wait staff is usually the same, a good sign. They are welcoming and efficient. Highly recommend this place. Happy it is in my neighborhood.
So this place was DC based for 23 years amd now has been in Clarendon for 18 years. Carol the manager told me. She's been with them for decades! Food was good. The game I watched was good too! Uruguay won.
We went here for their Thursday trivia night and happy hour deals. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. It's the happy hour drinks deals that make it worth the trip. All beer and wine is half off during happy hour, and the happy hour prices run through the first hour of trivia.
The trivia itself is immensely popular with around twenty teams participating. The rounds are all accessible and general so there's something for everyone. It was a good few hours out during the week.
5 stars because for what it is- its perfect. Its a cozy sports bar with a lively atmosphere- so it can get loud and crazy on game days. They also do trivia nights. Plenty of TV screens. The food is great, their regular prices are pretty good and their happy hour prices great. Their servers are always on point and friendly. They also have a surprisingly solid brunch thats never too crowded. Lots of seating indoors and out.
We go for trivia on Thursdays mostly because the location is convenient. The happy hour is good (1/2 price beer til 8pm). Food is alright for what it is. Service is SO hit or miss. Trivia prizes are a little lame. They have a ton of TVs so you can always find the game you want.
It seemed fine and the drinks were ok. The service at the bar was a little slow, which is weird when no one else was getting drinks at the moment.
Mr. Days treats its own very well! I’m not familiar with the weekend/night atmosphere in Clarendon, but during lunch, this place feels like family. They usually have an awesome lunch menu, and the service is excellent. The servings are very generous, and the food is usually excellent. Treat them well and they will treat you better.
Standard Clarendon sports bar. During the week it's a great place to watch football or basketball games, and on Thursday nights they host trivia.
Happy hour menu just underwent a (much needed) makeover. Beer and food specials last until 8 and the hh food (as well as regular menu) are always solid bar food options. Highly recommend the buff chicken wrap if you like heat!
