This store is as bad as it has always been. They sell quite a lot of expired or moldy food, and the staff (except the cashiers) can be pretty rude sometimes. I have contacted the corporate office and they told me they were trying to improve their processes. Nearly a year later, the issues remain.
I used to love ordering subs from the deli, but I've stopped over the last few months because one guy at the deli is rude and acts like he can handle 2 or 3 subs at once (he can't). He loves asking at the beginning for you to list everything you want on your sub at once, then forgets what you want and you have to correct him. It's not just once or twice, this has happened 4 times. At this point, I try to order when he isn't around, but then he appears asks you what you want. While he is still working on your sub, he asks the person behind you what they want (he can't remember more than 2-3 items at once, and it isn't even busy). If you don't list everything, he assumes you just want bread..
Overall, I cannot stand this store anymore. If I want moldy and expired food, there are closer Harris Teeters with about the same quality.

This is a great Harris Teeter location. Free garage parking. Selection across the store is good. Huge produce and meat selection. Self checkout is always staffed and moves quickly. No longer requiring masks for those vaccinated per CDC guidelines.

Clean, friendly staff, and always well stocked. Prices have gone up a lot and basics like milk is almost $6. Highest I’ve ever seen compared to other stores in area.

Convenient as it’s the only grocery store in the area other than Whole Foods. But they never stock a lot of items, especially soda (the HT brand shelf is always empty whenever I come), so it’s worth it to drive a bit and go elsewhere.

Some staff were very friendly & others were just plain cold. Now I know why I prefer self checkouts! Got what I needed. Plenty of parking.

This store is fine for the basics. For fresh fruits and veggies, I prefer the Harris Teeter on the south end of Crystal City, Route 1 and Glebe.

The location of this grocery store is very good. It’s pay to park unless you want to risk not paying the meters (: there is a hair cutting place e nearby, bed bath beyond, and many restaurants that you can make an entire day out of. Photos as of August 2018.
