Amazing sushi & BYOB! So fresh and delicious combinations of flavors. Rolls are large and filling. Will definitely be back!

It was not very busy. We were there on a week night. But the sushi, sashimi, soup, salad and hibachi rice were all delicious and fresh. Our server was friendly, lively and quick. Good place if you are looking for sushi.

My experiences at Mt. Fuji have been pretty mixed. I'll start with the good: Great lunch specials. All of the sushi rolls I've gotten have been good. BYOB. Friendly staff. Half the experiences I've had have been great. The other two times I've been there were bad as follows: I went for dinner one night. We ordered a king crab roll to start off with. The waitress bought out an imitation crab roll and said they were sorry that they were out of king crab and that it was on the house. Not a big deal, but when we got the check the king crab roll was on there at full price. When we mentioned it, she went and took 50% of the price of the roll off. Kind of messed up for something we didn't even order, considering the California rolls are less than half the price of the king crab rolls. Also the hibachi dinner was pretty bland with the vegetables under-cooked. Today I placed a small to go order over the phone. When I went in to pickup, they misheard one of the rolls I ordered. Not a big deal, since it can get loud in there even at lunch. They remade it quickly and sent me on my way. Would have been completely fine, but when I got home they still did not have the correct rolls... I would recommend Mt. Fuji for the lunch specials, that in the future I would make sure to place in-person. I would stick with the teriyaki or 2-3 roll specials.

Give this place a try. You won't regret your decision. I've been visiting this restaurant for years. My husband and I love their food. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and the food is absolutely the best, hands down!

I ordered the Rock Shrimp Appetizer and asked for another vegetable other than the sweet potato. This set of a very bizarre series of interactions. The waitress discussed this with one of the people at the sushi bar. She was really confused that I did not want the sweet potato. Somehow she concluded that I should have tempura rather than the Rock Shrimp because that is what she brought out. The Shrimp Tempura has two shrimp were 1/4 shrimp and the rest the tempura batter. I told her this was not what I ordered. I had also ordered a roll and there was no sign of that while I waited for the Rock Shrimp. I sat there for about a 1/2 an hour. I only had an hour so I had to get everything packed to go. I had two bites of the Rock Shrimp before it was packed up. It was very bland. Also, the menu reads "Rock Shrimp with sweet potato". There were a few shrimp and then a ton of battered vegetables. I think it is deceiving to put in on the menu as Rock Shrimp. It should be Vegetables with two shrimp Appetizer. The waitress seemed truly baffled by anything I asked. Will not go back.

Pleasant Japanese restraunt! Although I'm not much of a sushi person and this is definitely a place to go for sushi, I still enjoyed some of the rolls. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is excellent. I personally had the katsu which was very good. Would highly recommend.

Trust the 5 star reviews! Hostess said to me “we will see you again!” before I left (this was my first time ordering takeout from this establishment) and she is right! We will certainly be back! Freshly prepared fish, generous portions, wonderful attitude.

I like their tempura, have gone several time for that. But I don't recommend the sushi at all. While it tastes fine, I don't know why, it just falls apart the second you pick it up. They don't put it together well and the fish falls out as the whole piece unrolls and rice falls everywhere. It's really poor quality in making the sushi
