Dad's Bar-b-que

This use to be my go to bbq spot but the product has gone way down hill . I find myself constantly leaving the drive thru only to turn around to return a bad order of skinny dried out ribs. The last trip was the final straw not only was the ribs dried out and skinny but on top of that they raised the price to almost $30 for a half slab rib plate. I'm DONE the thrill is gone....sad

Did not get all of my order, staff was rude. Portions where small compared to previous owner and not prepared to previous standards. Drive through order screen and areas look likes do it yourself handyman job and while ordering a staff member walked right in front of me while I was ordering. The rating seen is false. This has obviously been padded by employee fake reviews. I worked for dads not long after they opened and Mr. Devine would have fired this entire crew.

I visited this establishment today. I went through the drive thru. Happy I ck my order before I left. I was missing mack and cheese and a whole stuffed baked potato. The problem occurred when i went back to get the rest of the order. When i notified staff they just kinda stared at me. Well one young lady walked over to the counter where my order was sitting. I guess they would have noticed it sooner or later. So many people just standing around. Never got that apology. I have one for the tip jar: know how to wash your hands and know how to put the order in the bag. Tks

Oh my goodness. Those ribs... My first visit. This is the Dad's near 202 in Anniston. My goodness, the ribs are so good I didn't use sauce. Smoky, tender, yummy goodness. The fried green tomatoes would have been better if cooked a little more but everything was so good. My brother ordered a lunch sandwich special; the smoked turkey sandwich, slaw, and potato salad. The potato salad was odd compared to the potato salad you normally get but still had a decent flavor. It tasted like it was made with baked potatoes instead of boiled potatoes. Kinda weird but still good. The employees were friendly, the dining area and bathrooms were clean. Next time I'm in Anniston I will go back!
