Subway

Update: they are always out of pickles and tomatoes when I order. How is this possible...? Where to start.. This subway is always super hectic due to the fact that it’s on a college campus and “lunch hour” from 11 to 3pm. I ordered a BLT here and it was pretty bad. The sandwich itself tasted pretty alright (as usual), but how they made the sandwich and asked how I wanted it was the very example of poor communication. When I left, I held the sandwich by the bag handle. But after walking into the other building I realized that there was a huge patch of mayonnaise on the side of my bag, dripping loosely all throughout where I had walked, and also all along my pants leg. Fortunately, I was only wearing jeans and not dress pants for a presentation. But still ! After I had cleaned up myself and took care of the bag, I realized that they had given me no napkins to help, but that my sandwich was so poorly wrapped that mayonnaise and tomato was falling out $@&@%# actually, half of my whole freaking sub wasn’t even packaged in the wrap. On top of everything, I actually think I got undercharged too. Oh. And the employees smoke outside the back, on A smoke-and-tobacco-free campus. If that doesn’t say anything about how much the employees (don’t) care...then I don’t know what does.

So to be honest I don't know why I still go to this subway. My sandwich today wasn't even cut and the meatballs were closer to charcoal. For toppings I got one of each and even that was cut in half. So if you have a choice between leaving campus for food and this subway? Take the time and get some decent food.

You want a review on Subway? Ok...they give the weighed amounts of filling per sandwich, and use the same cold cuts as all the rest of the subways. They usually hire high school or college kids as workers, so attitudes of workers vary. It's a stopover job for all of them. Some smile, some don't...but never much enthusiasm at any of these places. You know that going in...it's Subway.

I have never had a bad experience at subway until today. Talk about a rude and stupid cashier. If I was her manager I would've fired her by now! I let her know when I walked in that there was a homeless man soliciting people for money outside the restaurant. She stared at me and did nothing. Then rang us up incorrectly.

Most of the time you won't be able to order what you would like because there are no ingredients. Who runs this subway, it's been like this for at least 2 years. I guess the management doesn't feel it matters enough because a lot of the students here don't have much of a choice because they don't have the means to leave campus.

Tried to order a sandwich today but the counter person was talking to her friend and I had to order several times. She got rude when I complained so I asked to speak to the manager. His solution was to tell me to order Mediterranean food from a different restaurant in the food court. Really???? I should orderm food I don't want so he doesn't have to deal with his rude employee??? VERY poor customer service!!!
