I have been there a few times including the one in north campus. I am struggling with 3 stars or 4 stars since I had excellent food experience in north campus. They served excellent sushi rice which I am quite critical about. But recently the sushi rice is not right, it is harder. I hope they will do better.

Had a decent dinner out at Nagomi. Started off with some Miso soup. It was pretty normal. Sushi looked good although it was brought before our starters. In a sushi place order is not that important but it was kind of expected first. All in all decent grub. Tunes were way too loud....

Sushi is inconsistent. Some pieces of sushi have a lot of meat; others, barely. At lunch time, the sushi is made by mediocre sushi chefs. There was one piece of salmon in my sushi that was still frozen. For the price m, I expected a little more. But then again, $10 for 5 pieces of nigiri, california roll, and miso soup isn't too bad?

Under-staffed on a Friday night, but we were seated quickly and the food was great! I like the menu here better than the Nagomi on north campus.

兎に角まずい Extremely slow service, considering we were one of the only two tables at peak lunch hour. The food is so overpriced for what it is. Six pieces of fish on bad rice for $15. The skewers are even worse, half tasted like panda express on a bad day, the other half the chef just decided to not season at all. Burning it black is the only seasoning available here at Nagomi. When I told the waitress I didn't like the food, she replied: "oh, I'll bring the check then."

Fantastic. Truly the kindest and most wonderful staff. I don't like to go anywhere else for sushi because the food and the experience are great every time! To the manager Jay, thank you for being so incredibly kind and delightful. We can't wait to come back! If you haven't gone, I highly suggest it. I always love the food and so do my friends. The waiters have become people we know and love! Wishing you guys nothing but the most success. I'll see you soon!

One of my favorite (quickly becoming my favorite) places to get sushi in Ann Arbor! The menu is creative, staff is always super helpful, and most importantly everything tastes delicious! They have a good (in my opinion) selection of sake, and a wide variety of fish and other appetizers. Highly recommend for a quick bite or a nice evening out (and anything in between).
