Bubble Island

Really delicious tea. They do not have dairy free milk tea but they do have fusion tea options (jasmine green tea plain or with fruit flavors: passion fruit, strawberry, mango, peach, kiwi, green apple, pineapple, lychee, blueberry). Add ins include: boba, mango stars, lychee jellies, rainbow jellies, and pudding). If you can have milk I highly recommend some of their signature drinks. I personally love classic milk tea with boba or milk tea with pudding. They also have a coffee drink option. They also have calpico (Japanese yogurt based fruity drink) which is something adventurous to try. Some of the drinks are pretty sweet if you are sensitive to that you can maybe ask for it to be a little watered down.

Bubble Island is a nice place to grab a cold beverage. I got the Green Turtle, which is off of their Signature Drinks menu. The Green Turtle has honeydew turtle tea with bubbles. Bubbles are Tapioca balls. The drinks is light and refreshing! Pleasant atmosphere with colorful seating and a couch corner with a coffee table. They also offer board games here, which can be super fun! In the winter, don't sit near the door, there is a terrible draft. I also like that the music is not too loud so you can talk or do work. Bubble Island is kept clean and well lit.

Went with the family and ordered our 4 drinks. They offered to give us a bag or cardboard carrier. We opted for the cardboard carrier to hold our 2 large and 2 medium drinks. The only problem with this carrier was that it was meant for only large drinks! As soon as we picked it up and went out the first door, the 2 medium drinks wobbled out as they had nothing to really hold them. After dropping one and coming back, we asked for a bag on top of it. They charged us for another drink, never apologizing for the mishap of the faulty carrier or mentioning the lost drink. They simply replied with "A purple haze? 4 dollars." 0 care for the customer or their job.

Here's a place that when be always be with me for the rest of my life. I remember my best friend showing me this place back in high school (I still don't know how to order a drink here). I always feel like I'm not doing the ordering right. Won't forget when I tried those gel things in my tea for the first time. I wasn't ready but instantly loved it and wanted another one that very moment. It's been a while since I stopped there so maybe soon I'll get down there.
