The szechuan tofu bowl was so flavorful, with a great crust! My boyfriend's brisket was beautifully cooked and tender. The portion sizes are generous. Neither of us are spice wimps; we regularly order and enjoy full on Thai and Indian spicy, and we tried to order spicy here and the woman at the counter warned us it would be extremely hot, so we dropped to medium, and it is still so hot we had to take a break and take half home. We'll be back for sure, but we'll go with mild next time!

Food flavors are soooo good. The bowls are filling and were well paired with their sauces along with the smoked bbq. Service was fast! I'd be glad to come back to order from here again.

Get it in early if you want the brisket, which is what you want. Everything else is fantastic. The bbq is all done simply, but consistently well every time, from the rice on up. Their weekly dark horse special, a rotating smoked brisket burger, only released twice a week in limited quantities, is the best cheeseburger in Michigan.

2022 update. The brisket is still great. Rice got better. They added a few new items to the menu like pulled pork tacos on Thursdays and Burgers on Friday and Saturday night. Still love the place and it still gets 5 stars from me. Food was good. The brisket was delicious!!! The rice was overcooked and kind of gelatinous. I would definitely go back for the brisket and look forward to trying the pork. They also didn't have any sandwiches the day I went but maybe next time. Added bonus they have a vast selection of craft beers at the same location.

Incredible BBQ and the best burgers in town. You can't go wrong with anything on the regular menu but I prefer the pork belly burnt ends and ribs. If you're going for a burger, they're only served on Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm but you'll need to arrive early since people start getting in line a half hour early.

Entire menu was sold out (see photo) except for a burger for $15. Staff said they frequently sell out of the food early in the afternoon (around 3-4pm). Come for lunch, not dinner. Place was very overcrowded and messy. Minimal seating, bad atmosphere.

Ricewood has been my favorite hidden delight for brisket bowls since before "bowls" were cool lmao & since this place was a food truck. You guys are amazing and keep up the great hospitality, quality, & friendly atmosphere!!!!

Another gem in Ann Arbor! This places serves the best & the most satisfying meal options. Great variety on the menu for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Definitely try the Mexican Coke.
