Zingerman's Roadhouse

Good place, good food, good service. We came during peak dinner time on a weekday and the place gets packed pretty quickly. Our server lady was always around and our water topped up promptly. Food was ok to be honest, but I particularly liked their chicken sandwich. I also appreciated the clean bathrooms. Overall would recommend this place if you’re in the area!

Zingerman's had some amazing food and I even heard Obama went through there whenever he was in the area. So of course I had to go in I looked on the menu and didn't see a chicken and waffles offering but I asked about it and they had it ready to go. The waffles with the grits in them are absolutely delicious and if you ask for some hot sauce they have their own house sauce which you can see on the plate.

Absolute worst food experience I've ever had in my entire existence. The food was no where close to decent. $14 for a flavorless oily bland Salad. The kids meal came with 5 edible fries. Had to throw out the rest because they were hard as rocks. Waitress didnt even come to check on us to request more fries. Mac n cheese dry and cold. Will never be coming here again.

I loved this restaurant when I lived in the area and just had the opportunity to visit again with my sisters while back in the state for our mom’s birthday. We waited at the bar and enjoyed the draft cider. We got the loaded grits, fried chickens Mac and cheese and fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a side of sautéed spinach. They were all amazing, but the sweet potato fries were our favorite! They tasted like they were smoked to bake and then were flash fried just enough for some crisp on the outside of tender goodness on the inside. As usual, service was top notch!

Had a nice dinner with a colleague during a recent visit to Ann Arbor. Restaurant was fairly crowded on a weeknight and had a very interesting display of salt and pepper shakers in glass cases throughout the restaurant. I took a few snapshots of some of the more unique “shakers“ that I saw. Had a Caesar salad with a sliced ribeye steak and it was grilled perfectly. Service was very good & efficient.
