Camps Restaurant While staying at WorldMark in Angels Camp, we were gifted a certificate for Camps Restaurant. The staff is friendly and very approachable. Our Fried Ravioli and Bread with Butter came to the table rather quickly. I truly liked the ravioli but I loved the bread. I am very much a carb lover as much as I am a steak lover. So a warm crusty bread and soft uber spreadable butter is one of life’s greatest pleasures (yes, the bread is an $8 charge). However my enthusiasm couldn’t continue throughout our meal. Although my Rib-eye Steak was cooked perfectly the way I like it, the vegetables on the side were very drab and overcooked. The spicy Brussels Sprouts had a good flavor. I wish they were slightly spicier, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. My wife’s Sole Almandine was a tad under seasoned and her vegetables were as drab and overcooked as mine. A quick blanche then saute would have done wonders for the sole. In contrast, the mashed potatoes she ordered on the side were perfect. For dessert, we ordered the Creme Brûlée. This was the perfect way to end our meal here. The creme brûlée was creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness.

Loved the strawberry lemon drop cocktail. Try the cauliflower steak appetizer.

Definitely an improvement over the last few years. Hopefully they bring back family pizza nights and continue to develop options for families.

I've had an excellent time at the camps restaurant/greenhorn Creek resort. I was recently here for a close Friend's wedding and had nothing but a fantastic experience. The venue was fantastic for a wedding with excellent views during sunset. I had the pleasure of dealing with manager Paige and bartender Neriah who were able to go above and beyond what I needed. I will definitely be recommending the place in the future. Thank you Paige, Neriah and all involved!
