Nonna’s Cafe

Home cookin' at its finest! We rolled in here on a short trip to NOLA from Jackson and they practically had to roll us out! So much good food. I had an extra serving of red beans and rice since it is one of my faves. During the pandemic the buffet isn't self serve but the waitresses will bring you a little bit of everything. And I mean EVERYTHING! Come hungry because this is the kind of food that's made with love. And everyone there was so nice! Seriously, if any of y'all are yankees and worried about going to a soul food spot off the beaten path, stop worrying! This is the closest thing you can get to having a nice church lady invite you to her house for Sunday dinner. I cannot say enough about how welcoming, homey and delicious this experience was and we will definitely be stopping by again!

Nonna's is the most amazing place! Phenomenal food and even more Phenomenal people. Miss Nonna is so amazingly kind and genuine. We felt like family the moment we walked in. Everything is fresh and homemade. I'm convinced we were served better food at Nonna's than Queen of England herself is eating. If you are looking for a great place to eat, look no further!! You will not be disappointed.
