Stopped in for lunch on our way north. Pleasant staff and good food always go well together. Catfish and Stuffed Crab were winners. Fair prices. Busy place, lots of locals. Good choice.

The one star is for the onion rings which were actually pretty good and the salad bar was okay too. As for everything else. GREASY! My husband ordered the catfish platter with sweet potato fries I had the small seafood platter. The catfish had the silver skin on it which when the waitress asked we told her we did not want it. We wanted trimmed, it can be ordered either way. She brought it and said that was all they had. It had so much grease I could not eat mine at all. My husband tried but over half of the fish was left on his plate. When the man asked that was doing the to go orders how our dinner was and I told him he just said sorry and walked off. He was in management he could at least have given us a partial discount considering how much food, most of it. The waitress was eating with a mouthful twice coming to our table to see if we needed anything too. Crazy bad experience considering this place was recommended.

I absolutely love Mike Catfish. We shared a large seafood platter and ate on it for 4 days. The seafood gumbo is so good. The stuffed crab and shrimp was really good. The breading wasn't overwhelming and the flavor was perfect.

Great local eatery!! The waitress was fabulous! The food was outstanding! My husband had catfish, said it was just about the best he'd had. I had fried shrimp and fries. Perfection!! Terrific salad bar!! Hope to visit again when in the area!!
