Gin Gin has been serving quality Chinese food to the Amherst area for quite a few years now. This is a restaurant that I recommend to all of my friends and family, because of their freshly cooked food, good prices, and extensive menu. Seriously, this menu is huge, and is bolstered by weekly specials on their board. It can take a little longer than other restaurants for takeout, but the quality is worth it.
Great place for authentic Chinese food! Ive been going there for years. Best place since Los Angeles. Many say the service is slow. Go to a fast food restaurant or one that serves frozen food. This one takes longer because they cook it fresh! I will wait for fresh food, but hey.... To eachs own! If you don't bring cash, they charge an extra dollar or so for credit cards. Its the fee they get charged....not illegal and no big deal. The lady always forewarns you if you're calling in. Bubble tea is great, egg rolls, chow mrin, shrimp in garlic sauce, orange chicken, wonton soup, beef low mein, chow mein.....(I kind of stick to what I know). Its all very good. My kids love the sweet and sour chicken (picky eaters)...
Check it out for yourself. Sometimes good things come to those who wait. Just saying. ;)
It's all about the scallion pancake and the jasmine green tea!
Best Chinese Food in Town. Amazing fresh chinese food- finally!!!!
Great place for Chinese food. Chicken chop house special beef chow fun general tso chicken beef and egg tomatoe rice bubble tea even dimsum now on weekend
We wish it weren't true, but authentic Chinese food is becoming more difficult to find in Western New York: low-end plaza take-outs with Americanized menus have multiplied across the area, as classier mid-range and high-end restaurants continue to disappe
As an Asian, I would recommend this restaurant for their food, pricing, and the service. I have tried this restaurant more than 10 times and some of the reviews may have said something bad about this place but every restaurant has mad one mistake or so. But that does not make them bad. Gin Gin is an authentic Chinese restaurant, it has superb food and you should try out their "secret menu" in store that is posted on their wall for a more authentic Chinese food!
Gin gin has always been my go to for Chinese! So much delicious food for reasonable prices. My favorite General Tso
With lo mein and pork eggroll, the best noodles around, big and flat, a quart.of wonton soup and fortune cookies and I barely made a dent in all of it! All that for $23 and I'm a happy gal! Ten stars if they had em!
😊❤
Been coming for years. Used to come at least once a week while at UB. Idk if they still do this but they used to let you customize orders back then. They'd make a white meat general tsos, made with sliced chicken instead of battered and deep fried, which was so good.
Has been going there for over 2 years. Lots of dishes, tasty food and wonderful service. Price is affordable. If anyone interested to try out chinese dishes, I would highly recommend it. Also, if you do not like too much spices, when you order spicy food (which has chili logo beside the item name on menu), tell them you will take the "low" level spicy. Some of the items are too spicy to enjoy, lol. But overall the food taste, quality and quantity is really good. My favorite dish is of curry chicken and yaki udon
