I was craving a Vietnamese sandwich while visiting from NYC and decided to give Omi Omy a try. This place is absolutely delicious! Would strongly recommend their pork bahn mi. I plan to go back next time I’m in the area.

The bahn mi here are ADDICTING. Initially I was disappointed because they advertised the sandwiches were on baguettes but they came out on standard sub bread (the same kind of bread as at D'Angelos or Jersey Mikes). But the flavors are heavenly. As soon as I finished the bahn mi I was thinking about how long I would have to wait to justify going back, so that's a big win in my books! I also ordered the taro bubble tea, sesame ball and custard bun. The sesame ball and custard buns were far larger than I expected and the flavors were pretty standard. A good addition to the meal but not crazy special. The tapioca pearls were excellent in the tea, but overall there's better bubble tea close by. If you are feeling lazy and only want to stop once, the bubble tea here will suffice.

The food was so much better than I expected. We had beef pho, spring rolls and a bahn mi sandwich. They were all very good. They had all the sauces you needed. I just wish they had more seating besides eating next to people waiting on take out/pick up orders. They were busy and food was still good and large portions

cant believe we waited so long to try this place, we are going to come back for sure! we each had a banh mi (pork and chicken), egg rolls, sesame balls, and cream buns. thats why our per person was so high, we ordered a ton haha XD the banh mi were fresh and tasty with a good ratio of filling to bread, although next time we will get them made spicy basil style because i like a bit of kick to mine. the egg rolls were unique to me since they had sweet potato in them which we really enjoyed, and the dipping sauce was a good pairing. i was thrilled with the sesame balls, its been so long since ive had them! they were super full of filling, fried up all crunchy and hot, definitely try them if you havent before. theyre lightly sweet, mostly a savory thing from the toasty sesame, and sooooo good. the cream buns were a nice way to finish off the meal since they were sweet, but light, the filling reminds me of vanilla pudding almost. i understand where folks are coming from with the prices seeming higher than you expect for this type of food elsewhere, but it was worth the cost to me and its not like it was super expensive compared to other options locally. food is expensive everywhere now, so thats something to just get used to. and its not cheap to run a business in amherst, so im not expecting to get a $4 banh mi anywhere here to be honest. it was fresh, delicious, and made to order, we will definitely be coming back!

The banh mi here is great but on the pricier end. The size is typical, but the quality and freshness of the fillings are worth the extra money. Any regular banh mi here costs $8.50 excluding tax and add ons, so at the end of the day, it comes out to be about ~$9 to $10 per sandwich depending on what you want. I think the banh mis here are very well seasoned and exceed the quality of the banh mi’s of other places charging $5.50-$6.50 per banh mi, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for!

Food is very, very delicious. For all of the times I have come here, I have been impressed by the quality and variety of ingredients you get in a small package of meal, with balance of flavor and healthiness. I come back time after time because of how balanced the menus are with vegetables, proteins, and carbos. My favorites are the pork banh mi and the chicken rice bowl with fish vinaigrette. Although priced competitively, the portions are a bit small. Also, It would be great if the rice bowls came with a little bit more meat.

I had been interested in trying pho after watching an Australian cooking show, I was fascinated. I saw this place and pho on the menu and I knew I had to try it, to my excitement I saw the spicy option! Well.... I was hooked straight away, the broth flavors are just perfect. I love the fresh items on the side to add once you are ready to eat it. I have had this at least once a week since and can't stop telling everyone who will listen about it. I have not been able to try anything else because I just can't not order pho... and I have tried. My husband has had the banh mi sandwich and loved it too. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. It makes me look forward to going to work since it is right around the corner from it! One of these days I am going to try those fries! Omi Omy lives up to their name.

Hands down the best Vietnamese food in Amherst! We tried the tofu noodle bowl, their pho special (beef spicy lemongrass pho), the egg rolls, spring roll, and a sesame bun. The tofu noodle bowl was delicious and extremely fresh. The pho was very savory and a little spicier than expected but I loved it! The egg rolls are vegan, and they were a nice crunchy appetizer. The spring roll was HUGE and tasted so fresh. Lastly, ooh the sesame bun. We ate it at the end and it was still warm and soft. Perfect level of sweetness to wrap up the meal! They also serve Boba teas here, which we'll try at a later date but we were too stuffed to consume anymore.

Go here now. The banh mi bread is perfect, shatteringly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and loaded with delicious traditional cold cuts (chicken, pork etc also available.) The noodle bowl is fresh and tasty and the summer rolls were the best I have had in a long time. We will be back!

Travelers, this is a great place to get banh mi, noodle bowls and salad bowls. The vegetables are fresh and there is a nice variety in all the dishes. The sesame balls were good too and huge. Try the boba milk tea, delightful. The restaurant is not fancy but clean. The service was nice and helpful. We recommend. Enjoy.
