Never really had a bad experience here. Not as much of a club, more laid back bar. Be prepared to wait if you go at popular times, can still be packed as hell. If you need food Pizza Pit is right above you

Great experience! Was brought here by a friend who had attended Iowa State and came here regularly.
Solid beer selection, and although they were busy - they still helped me choose a beer.
Weird that their rotating beer selection takes so long to cycle through though - it was hard to read them. So just go talk to the bartender.
They also sell t shirts for $18.

Wonderful sports bar in the heart of Campustown. A chill atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Definitely, not your average college bar.

I've gone quite a few times now, either for the cheap margaritas on Saturdays or to play pool, sometimes both. A bit of a crowded layout, but if you're able to claim a spot you can try one of their many interesting drinks.

I come here regularly and the bartenders and waitresses are AMAZING! They are fast, and get to know the customers. Its a great Bar to play pool at after a long day.

Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Pizza Pit delivers to the Bar and they now take credit cards. We met here for our a High School Reunion after party and the place was very accommodating. Nice place to socialize with friends with a full bar and restaurant service at your disposal.

It's well worth staying until 10:30 for the pizza pit slices. Lots of drinks at moderate prices and good waitress service. I love the low key environment over the other bars on Welch because of the music volume, I can actually have conversations. Definitely one of my top 3 bars
